Q: If the power goes out and it loses wifi connection will i get a notification on my phone?

There is currently no reminder function for loses wifi or low battery. But the tuya APP interface displays the real-time power of this water leak detector. Dear customer, After fully charged, it stand by for about 6 months. You can open the APP to see the power level of this leakage alarm. There is a hanging plate on the back. Q: Will it work on a 5g cell phone Samsung

You will need a router that uses 2.4Hhz to pair this device. After that you can use 5Ghz WiFi to use your phone. most smart home devices run on 2.4Ghz. If you take the time to read the description of this item, the seller states " Please Note: Only support 2.4G Wi-Fi ." Also, it must be the same WiFi that your phone uses to set it up.
