Nice variety
This pack of WWII-themed LEGO-scale accessories has a great amount of variety and covers a lot of bases. I was attracted to this pack for the motorcycle with sidecar and the artillery pieces, plus the razor wire, handful of sandbags, and two printed dogs are nice to have as well.Compared to similar assortments I've received, the firearms in this pack are much more cohesive. There's a good mix of variety and duplication, making it a good choice when outfitting a unit. The six minifigures are a little bit too cohesive for my liking, however, as there are three each of two designs. Other packs throw in some variations on uniforms and different faces. What is nice is they all include knee and shoulder pads as well as holster belts that are fully compatible with LEGO legs and torsos.I feel a little disappointed in the motorcycles and artillery, which I'd really expected to be the highlights of this group. For the motorcycle with the sidecar, I have not found any way to assemble it without the cycle's rear fender contacting the tire. All of them entail a lot of clipping pieces off of sprues, which is not fundamentally a problem, but I did encounter more flash needing cleanup with a hobby knife than expected. In general, pieces did not fit especially well and were tougher to assemble than expected. Even among the pieces for the howitzer's barrel, which I would expect to be uniform, some were tight and some were loose, requiring trial and error to order them in a way that holds together. Among the minifigures as well, I was missing one knee pad and had an extra tactical vest, so the overall quality control was not so great. It's not a bad assortment, and is probably a fair value.

Good quality, great value, and lots of cool military accessories
This set really exceeded my expectations. I've purchased off-brand, Lego-compatible sets previously, but they've always fallen quite short of quality I expect from Lego. This was by far the closest to Lego that I've seen in terms of look, fit, action, and feel. It genuinely surprised me.Everything pictured in the Amazon listing was included in the package. But ALSO included were 6 minifigures not pictured. I don't know why the inclusion of the minifigures aren't signaled in the Amazon listing, but they are there in the box that arrives. Some notable features of the set: (1) There is a great deal of assembly, and this includes removing a lot of the pieces and accessories from plastic sprues. (Sprues, for those who may not know, are those square-ish plastic frames that the parts of a plastic model are attached to when it comes out of a box.) I found it extremely helpful that my son and I had recently acquired a "model nipper"/"sprue clipper." It made removing the pieces from sprues much easier. And there were a LOT of those sprues; I think somewhere around 20.(2) Parts you don't typically assemble with Lego needed to be assembled here. In particular, the arms and hands of the minifigures needed to be attached to the torsos. The upside is that the finished figures looked and felt very very similar to actual Lego minifigures.(3) For the artillery cannons, mortar, machine guns, and motorcycles, there are instructions for assembly; but these are not at all like Lego instructions. The instructions here were not detailed and were printed on two or three small scraps of paper, using tiny images and type. I wouldn't have been able to read it without magnification. But overall, I did not find it overly frustrating; it ended up feeling more like an diverting challenge.(4) I've already said that the quality most closely approaches Lego of the various non-Lego companies I've encountered. But it isn't perfect. I noticed, for example, that when building the motorcycle with the side-car, the back wheel wouldn't spin once the body of the motorcycle had been snapped on. These little quirks are pretty much absent with real Legos. But Lego's impecible level of quality is also why you're paying the big bucks. This current set seemed to me a great deal for between $15-20.Again, except for the six minifigures, the various accessories and weapons are all pictured here in the listing. There is a lot of variety in the weapons, they have an air of authenticity (based on actual weapons) and the quality seems solid. There are of course a numbers of particularly tiny pieces—little grenades and teensy three-round clips—but that just comes with the territory. My 11-year old son had a blast putting everything together and he is very excited about the pieces and the set. Since Lego avoids military sets on principle, the only way to find these types of pieces is through other companies. A set like this turned out to be an excellent value and surprisingly good quality. I highly recommend it.

Amazing Huge Set!
My son especially loves WW2 so this was a perfect set for him to try out! We were really impressed with the detail of the weapons, motorcycles, bayonets, etc. And the weapons even came with little stands! He especially loved the gas masks! Everything was perfectly done and the WW2 era was well executed. You get a ton of stuff too and everything pictured was included. Great set and would make a perfect gift for any child that is into military stuff!
