This device is a really interesting way to start a new hobby. I'm a beginner to all of this and it's been quite a daunting feeling to start, but this growing system is really simple and comes with all the necesarry basics to start right away. It comes in a basic no frills box, the device itself, 6 pods, a bit of plant food and a UK adapter.It comes with a nice colour manual to also help you along the way, so I was able to get water in the tank and start with some parsley. It all seems automatic and no fuss, with only a few touch settings to change timer functions - nothing complex which is great for a beginner!Something that I'm surprised is that despite being 15 watts, the LED lights on the roof gets extremely bright and can light up an entire room with ease! I was really surprised but I suppose that's necessary for the plant. It's something to keep in mind as it's tough to really show just how bright this is, so I put a picture showing it near my ceiling light.You can also adjust the roof so it can allow for larger plants when things start growing, but my plants are still at the very beginning stages. There is also a limit to what you can potentially grow here and I wouldn't say it can replace what a garden can do, but it makes for a really nice, stress free hobby to grow things without worrying about the seasons or dedicating too much time.

The machine comes with all you could expect bar the seeds. Got to be honest here that threw us especially at this price point I think even if it was just a couple it would be great for you to just get straight into using the machine. That aside it works well and the timer function/instructions are detailed. Still getting used to it all and definitely takes time to decide what you want to grow. The machine itself is a slightly off white.£49.99 is a good price I think. As I said above some kind of seed inside this kit would really make it a one stop shop. People could test out the machine immediately.

So far this is proving to work pretty well for growing plants in their smaller stages, I intend to try growing quite a variety of smaller plants over the next year or so but for now I can see it works well at least for the initial stages of growth. Next up I’m planning on trying a few small types of strawberry plants so I’ll update when this pepper plant has grown as much as possible in the space it has and once again when I’ve planted the strawberry seeds and seen how they grow.

Very good setup and working well I have mint, chives and a bit ambitiously chilies growing in mine and they're coming on really well in such a short time.
