Bought to rehab a baby and it grew up in the box, still goes in the box when it’s cold and rainy.

They now use this house instead of our attic.

I purchased 3 squirrel nesting boxes. This one is well designed but light weight, thin wooded box. Upon arrival the door was cracked where the screw holds it on. I had to glue and staple it together. This is partly due to thin wood, and also due to an either non-pre drilled hole or off center screw placement. A good design just a bit light duty compared to the other 2 I purchased.

This was easy to install (if you have the right spot and a good ladder). It came exactly as advertised and we love it.Cute Backstory….We had a squirrel come onto our screened-in back porch and make a nest up in the rafters during a huge storm the other night. My daughter spotted it and reluctantly told me because she knew I would relocate him. I had to promise her I’d get the cute little fella a new home, so I ordered this one and it was on my porch when I woke up! Hope he likes it!

This was a gift for my son and he absolutely loves it.

The plexiglass that is at the front was coated in what looks like glue. I took it off to clean it and it won't come off! Then, where the ledge is to enter, it has glue or sealer applied sloppily and there is a divot where they drilled an air hole in back but it hit the top of the ledge and the wood splintered. It's not sanded as smooth as I was expecting where the entrance hole is, so I will have to do that. I'm not returning it because I assume the next will arrive in similar condition and I do like the shape, size and style of this house. Time will tell on it's longevity. It does have a ledge as the squirrel enters inside, which is not in the supplier photos. and we don't get a good look at the inside in their photo's so I included one. For the price, I expected better, hence the three stars. Also the bottom has 4 small holes for drainage I assume.
