Perfect!
These are excellent shoes. I have gotten I think 5 or so people to buy some since I got mine in September. They took no breaking in, they’ve been like slipper level comfort since I first put them on. They do not have the widest toe box compared to other brands, BUT they are some of the only sneakers in this style available on Amazon—you can’t beat that convenience. The sole has some cushion/arch support, so not a true barefoot, but I like that about them. They are a perfect beginner shoe for someone new to barefoot style, and the sole thickness keeps my feet warm (Canada, hello!)I wear these all the time. I’ve gotten them soaked, muddy and I’ve worn them at work, they are very versatile and hold up well. I’ll be ordering more for sure. If you’ve ever had foot pain, or are simply tried of always squishing your toes, give these a try.

Most Comfortable
I have very wide feet and these shoes are the most comfortable shoe I've been in, in years! If you have the wide feet, these are awesome.

A Shoe Designed for Feet
Summary — These shoes are very comfortable in terms of fit and allow for a lot of range of motion compared to common shoes. They breathe real well and the wide toe box really helps let your toes be free to provide you the support you need. Appearance and design are utilitarian and modest, but they're shoes and the grey ones look surprisingly nice with a pair of skinny jeans (for you millennials out there).Expanded — Now, bear in mind, these are not luxury comfort shoes designed to make you feel like you're walking on clouds. There is some cushion in the sole and heel but you'll definitely notice you've been walking around in these after awhile, especially on hard surfaces like concrete. It is recommended that you make an additional investment to get insoles with a little more support if you're not used to these types of shoes.Do know that these shoes provide comfort in a different way and it's allowing your feet to naturally provide support for you while standing, walking, running, and balancing. So, at first, you might notice your feet feel more "worn out" than usual and it's quite frankly you might be utilizing muscles you never thought you had.Context — I discovered this type of shoe and line of shoes through a video essay featuring Jake Leary on YouTube. After some health issues, I've haven't been working on my feet nearly as much and I started to notice that, over time, it was becoming more challenging to find comfortable shoes. I spent more time out of shoes than the average person because it was frankly just more comfortable. As it turns out, Jake makes a good point: Shoes aren't usually foot shaped.I thought my "wide feet" were hereditary or some kind of sign of neglect, but as it turns out it's just the "natural shape" of the foot. Since I've been not wearing shoes for so long, my feet have basically been returning to natural form.If you want to learn more about shoes, feet, and why these particular types of shoes are special just go to YouTube and look up "You're Ruining Your Feet" by Jake Leary!

Oh my gosh, these are comfortable shoes!
Hey there Americans! These are sold using European sizes, check your other shoe boxes to see which metric size would fit you best. Example: I wear an 11-11.5 Wide. But, when I ordered, I went down to a 42 because I know 43 is too large for me. The soles are rubber and comfortable. I use a rolling walker and had to get used to the heel being even with the front. It actually helps me with my balance and stability. Downside: there’s nothing inside the sole to prevent a nail or glass from going through the rubber. I really love these shoes.
