Nice setup
Nice setup, after drawing gun out several times the trigger guard lock worked in a little & allowed the thumb lock to smooth out so the trigger guard would release. Tried to pull gun out & it would no come out without pressing thumb release.

Bought for Christmas present shipping was fast came in with plenty of time fits gun perfectly she loves it and uses all the time. Release action is smooth no complaints

Defective design
I really had high hopes for this holster. It was comfortable and I didn't have the issue the other reviewer had with it not letting go. I feel like it would have worn in okay. HOWEVER, my issue is the ability to pull the firearm out without ever pushing the release button. I was able to do this multiple times, even after adjusting the the retention screw. That is a huge ahd dangerous flaw. One of the points of having a thumb release holster like this is to prevent someone from being able to get to that button as easy and taking your gun from you. If the company can fix that inside their holster where it locks to the trigger guard, they'll have a great product. Until that's done, I don't trust it. Defective in my opinion.

Good fit for the pistol, but the release was too sticky.
Good fit for the pistol, but the release was too sticky. I had to return the item because no matter which pistol I tried, or how I adjusted the fit/tension, the thumb release was just too sticky and it was not smooth at all. It is a shame, I really wanted to like this holster and get more of them In the end, I went with a Cytac that has an index release, instead of the thumb.If they came out with another version of this holster, I would try it, but this one was a no-go for me.

Release is hard
It takes both hands to release the safety mechanism. If I have to use it - I'm dead.
