Climaloc CIFILMDISPE Revolutionary Dispenser Kit for 5-Windows, 64" x 210" of 0.9mil Insulating Film with DS Adhesive Tape, Clear

I bought this brand last year from a local store. My house is 110 years old with lots of old double-hung windows. I've put up a lot of plastic over the decades. This is so much easier than laying out a sheet of film on the floor and trying to measure and cut while the kitty is trying to help. Most of my windows are over 45" tall so I just pull it out to the width and with one cut of the scissors I have my window film. It shrinks nicely too. I don't get a lot of those annoying ripples. There was plenty of tape also. I like to double-up on the tape on the bottom and still had some left. I bought this one from Amazon expecting to need more this year, but I had enough from last year's pack to finish my windows. But I didn't want to risk not having it on hand. As far as being cat-claw-proof? I'm not sure any window film would withstand Lily's enthusiasm at trying to get at that pesky squirrel! So I also have clear packing tape on hand for mending little boo-boos.Edited on Oct.26 2020:I was ready to use this new package and when I went to put it on a tall window I found out that it's actually 62" I really needed those extra few inches on several tall windows. The foam insert at the bottom is taped to the film also so when it's removed it leaves tape on the outside at the bottom. I have no choice but to pull it out 64" and cut it. Lots of waste that way. The package I used last year was long enough so I don't know why this is shorter. Plus it's not 210" either. I'm about 38" short of that. Not happy.

This plastic is great for weatherproofing. Very durable and clear-don't even know it's there. Our 4 cars did not puncture it in the 6 months it was on. 😸

The product itself works well. However, I ordered 2 packages and one was opened and did not come with the double sided tape. I'm half way done with my project before winter hits. It seems its an error from shipping from amazon. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service.

I used this 2 years ago...it is so easy to install. You run the 2 sided tape down the sides and bottom of the window, measure film, cut, unroll just a little, peel off the tape, attach to the top of the window...peel off the backing of the tape on the sides of the windows...and work your way down...if you have used similar products, this is so much easier, and MUCH less waste! I hope this product makes a come back to hardware stores...it's a great product, easy to install, and competitivly priced.
