In the Lowest power makes a whine sound. Only rotates up or down does not move side to side. Using in my camper van build.

The media could not be loaded.  This seemed like a nice hardwired 12v fan for my van, but it has developed a really annoying high pitch humming sound at low speed. Lowering my rating to 3 stars. The humming doesn’t happen at high speed, but is a bit loud in general.This fan appears to be almost completely made of metal so it will hopefully last a very long time.It has a 3 position switch with down for high speed, middle for off and up for low speed.You can mount it on a flat surface or to a pole with the supplied hardware. Mine is going in my van, as soon as I decide on the best location.You can adjust the tilt of the fan a few degrees down or just past 90 degrees straight up, but it can not move left/right, so make sure you consider the best spot for permanent mounting.On high, the fan pulled about 12.5 watts and measured 65db on my phone app. On low it pulled about 6.5 watts and measured 53db using the same app.
