Marina Digital Thermometer

This thermometer was for one of my many fish tanks but being honest do not think I would purchase one again. This is in a fifty litre tank. It gives me varying readings which don't agree with the two other thermometers I have tried out in the same tank. I tested it in my three hundred litre and same again varying temps nothing like my other two thermometers about one degree difference. I agree that not all thermometers are the same but a degree in a fish tank can spell catastrophe for some fish so to be honest I binned it as I lost trust in it. Maybe mine was faulty but to risky to keep relying on

Having used stick-on strip thermometers which are difficult to read (and remove) and glass thermometers fixed in the tank with suckers which lose their suck afer a while I was looking for something a bit more user friendly. These fit the bill perfectly and the price is better than anywhere else I could find.Clear bright display which can be changed from centigrade to fahrenheit, velcro fixing for easy removal and cheap replaceable battery. The only minor issue is routing the thin black wire so it is not too obtrusive.Still worth 5*

I ended up having to return one of these due to it reading high temps regardless of the temp of the aquarium. Swapped it for another one and a few months down the line its doing the same thing. Dont waste your money.

I would give this item 5 stars, but I have had to send 2 back after they failed after just a few weeks.
