KEMIMOTO Parking Brake Thingy Kit Upgraded Spring Parking Brake Compatible with Polaris RZR XP 1000, Ranger XP 1000, RZR PRO XP Single Foot Operation

I was very impressed and surprised at how easy and quick it was to install this, I think it took me around 15 minutes maximum. This bolts onto the existing bolts making it very easy to install, this holds the brake pedal down when engaged. It is easy to engage and disengage this parking brake just use your feet to do it. One foot to hold the brake pedal down and your other foot to slide the locking mechanism over.

Had to cut 3/8 " off left side of release petal to not interfere with inside fender body panel.Angle on mounting plate about 2 degrees off, release petal hit back of brake petal.Mounting holes were incorrect. Gusset surrounding master cylinder hit on slide plate of latch.Not thrilled to be performing mods on product mounted under my dashboard.Nuts do not fully engage due to added thickness of mounting bracket.Definitely China Virus all the way around!Complete Journey of Dreams it said on their box. Huh more like a nightmare!

It looks great, but the metal is soft and bent easily after installing. Once it was bent, it no longer worked properly. Also, the idea of being able to get your foot on the petal to set the brake while it is so close to the actual brake petal is not a good idea. Do not waste your money on this!!

I ordered this for a Ranger XP 900 even though I was unsure if it would fit or not. I am happy to report that WITH SLIGHT MODIFICATION, it will fit an XP 900.Essentially, when you push down on the red pedal, it slides a lock plate over - on my 900, that locking plate hit against the brake pedal mount, preventing it from sliding. It is a very close fit though, so while it installed as expected, the slide was prevented from moving and when I pushed on the red pedal, it bent the bracket. After removing the parking brake and griding off a small bit of the mount, I was able to make it work... although at that point, I had already bent the portion that slides so I need to disassemble the entire brake, straighten it in a vice, re-assemble and re-install.Additionally, the red pedal is very close to the brake when you are trying to engage the lock. I have what I would call average size feet but in work boots, there is not a lot of room to get your foot in there to lock it. If the pedal were a bit bigger and/or moved farther away from the brake pedal to allow for more clearance, this would be a MUCH better product.Overall though, this product seems very well made and I would recommend and would probably buy again, but am only giving four stars due to the extra effort involved to properly install along with the fact that the bracket bent with what I would consider not a lot of force.

I had heard about these, and Knew I wanted to get one.Take off 2 nuts, place the brake, screw the nuts back on, and Poof! Instant parking / Hill brake. Brilliant product!This uses your brakes instead of the transmission, to keep your buggy from rolling off into the woods.I like that you can literally just press the brake, and kick the slide over with your foot to engage it. Completely "hands free"It's built really well, better than the brake lever, so I have no doubt that it'll enjoy a long happy life on my side by side.It's one of those "should have come on the vehicle when you bought it" type of additions that almost isn't even optional. You need one!It's inexpensive, and while it's not a "cool" upgrade like lights, or other accessories, anyone who doesn't have one will want one as soon as you show it to them!Pretty darn slick! I love it!

Great build but wish it was noted that it does not fit 2024 models of rzr

Awkward and difficult to engage, poor design, the angle of the "engagment" pedal makes it almost impossible to use as intended, you can still reach down and engage by hand.

Bought this for my 2017 Polaris Ranger got it on and it rubbed on part of the break pedal frame ground on my pedal frame and on the emergency brake still can’t get it to fit Don’t waste your money
