The repair kit had every tool to do the job and secure the battery. Everything worked as designed with improved performance and increased run time with the higher rated capacity. After a couple months, my screen started to show a yellow “stain” that grew in size. Upon further inspection, my screen was being pushed away from the phone. I removed the screen and found the battery to be extremely swollen. I have only used Apple chargers and cables purchased from Apple directly, and have charged the battery when completely depleted. Be cautious when purchasing this product, I can’t imagine what could have happened if I had ignored this any longer.

This battery looked great on the numbers. It appeared to be higher capacity than most replacement batteries for my phone, included all the necessary tools, and even a glass screen protector. However, just a few days after installing it the battery began to swell, and then stopped working entirely. Not recommended.

All the tools you need and then some. Watch the video and plan ahead for the original battery adhesive to break loose. Despite following directions; I needed to follow up with a hair dryer, carefully prying from the edges to remove the old battery. Installation a 'snap'. Magnetized screw drivers really help with the 'watchmaker' screws. Phone now runs flawlessly at a higher speed. A week later; the screen protector that was included with the order is thicker then OEM screen protectors at the phone store. Also appeared to slightly blur the images. Replaced with a more expensive; brand name screen protector and the images are much more defined.

If confused by written instructions just go to youtube. Every tool you need to replace battery is included. Awesome performance boost. Very pleased.

This set came with a fairly decent tools set (compared to other manufacturers).I'm in Phone Repair so I have a better set but this set was still good for first-timers.The battery, however, is horrible.When first installed and fully charged, this battery lasted over a full day (of regular use) on the charge. This lasted for approximately 1 week.After that, it performed worse than a lower capacity battery. It now drains within a couple hours of minimal use and takes half the day to recharge.Is it defective? Unlikely. It's just a poor battery that can't handle the higher capacity for any length of time.I'd advise people steer clear of this battery and pay a bit more for a better one.

My iPhone 6s CPU was limited by the system and it went down even to 600MHz when the battery level was about 30%, instead of the supposed-to-be 1848MHz, so I purchased this battery replacement and did the battery change by myself. I am happy with the result. The new battery has the right size to fit into the room, and is super flat so it won’t bump to the touchscreen. The tool kit coming with the battery includes all the tools needed for the whole repair. It said it had 1715 mAh and I was glad to see that mine was actually 1800 mAh instead after installation. It came with a manual to follow, but I thought it was not complete so I followed the detailed instructions from iFixIt instead. Now my phone is fully backed to 1848 MHz at any battery level and running smoothly with iOS 11.2. I am happy with the purchase.

Battery worked well for a couple months then began performing poorly, not retaining charge or discharging as naturally would. Four months and this battery is swollen and popped the phone screen up, and phone unusable. Thought I wasted my money until contacting Caversky for a replacement, warranty period 24 mo., so after couple messages the new one is in route, delivery in a week. Not optimal situation for people reliant on their phone. And too much of my valuable time wasted in trying to keep my wife's phone functional with battery purchases, returns (Daxtromn defective out of box), warranty requests, waiting for shipment, & labor to install ..troubleshoot ..etc. In mean time I have purchased another branded battery to have a spare in case of problems with either. I will edit review after further experience with this brand battery.

Allowed me replace the battery on my old iPhone 6 Plus. The original battery could no longer hold a charge and Apple’s latest iOS update throttled the phone’s performance to make the phone useless. I thought of throwing it away but decided to see if I could replace the battery myself. I am glad I did because I can now use my phone throughout the day without having to charge it until I get home and the performance is a lot more manageable. I think I will make use of it until Apple comes out with a newer phone.
