You would think I invented the wheel or something! I’m not kidding- every time I’ve used this someone has asked where to get one of these. I just couldn’t bring myself to spend the $70 on one I saw at one of our local retail stores, so I took a chance on this one from Amazon. It’s perfect! High quality, looks way more expensive than it was, the magnets are really strong so no fear of losing my hats or of them being blown away. The clasp at the top opens so I can hang it anywhere (like on my chair for example)... I’m going to order more colors! BTW, it’s well packaged- suitable for gift giving, would be great for friends, stocking stuffers, etc. I love it and I think you will too!!!

This hat clip is strong and sturdy. It will hold any type of hat firmly in place. The inside of the holder is a strong magnet covered with a soft material to ensure the quality of the hat is kept intact. It hooks easily onto your purse or bag. The metal ring separates by pushing the hinged side down. Once you have the ring around the desired purse loop, just snap it back into place. It’s a great quality and style.

After reading another review, I bought the white version to avoid a risk of color transfer onto my hat. The magnets are very strong and on windy days when a hat won't stay on, it's good to be able to clip it securely. I used a cloth hat on my recent trip and there were not marks left on it from this clip.

This gadget works great! I attached it to my backpack when traveling and it held my sun hat tightly through airport and cruise ship x-ray machines. I attached it to my crossover bag on tours, and my had never fell off. I'm sure it has uses for other items besides hats, too! It was a little on the pricey side compared to other similar products, but I'm glad I chose it. The quality is great.

Honestly, my hat may be on the thicker side, but the magnet isn’t strong enough. My hat fell off a couple of times and was pulled off easily more than once.
