Q: I have tile where I want to place this on. Will it work on tile wall in the tub area

YES!! I paid more for this brand because I read comments these rails are made so all their screw anchors can be attached to any tile surface, and the repairman I hired to install them showed me how both ends of each rail are attached to the tile wall with 4 anchor screws that will not fall off or dislodge. Keep in mind every hole drilled into tile is permanent; the rail are not visible once the rail is installed but would be visible if not put in the right "spot" for you. For this reason I recommend you do as I did; have your installer measure and mark on the tile wall where each rail end should be placed while you are standing/sitting in the tub spot where you will bathe so there will be no unnecessary tile holes. I also recommend you; 1) use just a clear plastic shower liner so you can see outside the shower (for balance and peace of mind) and 2) put your cell phone in a sealed baggy and set it inside the shower for emergencies.

Q: Can it be used on fiberglass tubs?

How are you going to put your tub in the bath? I think it will be to large.
