I use this type of hose every winter on construction sites. So I recognize that this hose is a high quality, well made hose that should last for years of use. If you're new at using this type of hose you should know that if the hose is twisted or kinked it won't allow water through. Or will restrict the flow. This is not a fault of the hose, but is inherent in the lay flat type of discharge hose. This hose is about 20% less than if you buy at the local big box hardware store. So it is a very good value.

I added some camlock fittings and a three-way valve to my pool pump return, so I can also drain the pool anywhere I want to, using those hose. The 2" diameter of this kind of hose is so much faster than using a portable pump with a garden hose. This appears to be good quality, nice shiny blue PVC coiled up very nicely and very compact. The camlock fittings also look pretty good. I'm sure this will last for a while because I only use it once every few years when I have to drain the pool.

We got this 100' discharge hose to transfer water from our IBC water collection totes to our cisterns. It's very well made and works well. Very pleased with this hose!
