Using this for a totally different purpose, but it was the perfect material for that project. -- I have an elderly cat with arthritis and she loves to be wherever we are, which means she goes up & down stairs. Recently she began having issues getting back to her regular litter box, so we had to add an second one ... needed to be on the stair landing. Then we decided a tray was needed to help protect the carpeted landing. -- This material was very easy to cut and redesign into exactly what was needed (along with some good packing tape). -- It is a very good thickness and if it were protecting a table top or desk surface, it would be great. -- Will keep it in mind should I eventually have a need like that.

I was concerned the artist painted coffee table and buffet i ordered did not have protective coating on the top surface; these protective vinyl covers fit the need. easy to make small cuts for minor size adjustments. wish they were not so shiny.

Placed this on an antique stand to protect from water stains . Looks great .Needed to use a hairdryer to get it to flatten out .Would recommend.
