Still a great film
I Haven't seen The Sixth Sense since we saw in in New York in 1999. Our son really wanted to watch it so we rented it. Still a great film with a twist that'll have you looking back for clues. Fabulous performances from everyone, in particular Toni Collette and Osment.Shyamalan's first big success is well written and directed, although it plods along in a few places, but overall its a good watch. Not too scary, even though there is some injury detail in some scenes involving the deceased. My son is almost 15 and he enjoyed it, maybe a little too disturbing for younger viewers perhaps.

This films makes my hairs stand up
I don't really know what to say about this film and as others have gone into detail about what it's about i don't see the need to plus most of you by now i'm sure you know what it is about, but this film is just amazing and a true masterpiece i have watched it quite a few times and can watch again and again the acting is top noch from all the cast but Haley Joel Osment who plays the little boy Cole really does a terrific job when the acting is this good it makes the film that much more amazing, this has it's scary moments and disturbing moments also, and the twist well it really isn't one you would see coming even though you get hints throughout the film you just don't realize the hints are there until the next viewing if you haven't yet watched it then you should waste no more time and get right to it.Top marks 10/10

Makes you think about life, love and death
It is a really great film, makes you think about life, love and death. good acting, despite the subject you find yourself able to accept the premise and it does carry a message about letting go of the ones you love who have passed away. You can read in to any film what you want of course but this did make me reflect.

A Classic
The film to rent is far too expensive for a an old film by jove.Yet, the acting and intricate scenes to conveythe mystery is so compelling and so ground-breaking in that era when most people didn’t go beyond the five senses, in order to make sense of how to balance our traumas and help others with suffering with trauma too on many levels, yeah, smile.

Creepy or sad ?
I like this film and I think it requires two viewings. The first time I watched it, I found it creepy and weird. It even managed to mildly surprise me with the final "twist".I did suspect at some point, but got distracted by what was happening on screen. I guess the director is to be commended for that (especially the restaurant scene ...)The second time I watched it, it surprised me by how remarkably different it came across.Things that were creepy and weird suddenly became sad and endearing. From thinking you were watching a horror film, to dropping a metaphoric tear at some of the most harrowing stories. So, while the acting was not that memorable, the general feeling is of a satisfying and clever storyline.

Not as scary as it makes out
This isn’t that scary, it’s more upsetting than anything, as I feel sorry for the little ladThere’s a couple of gun shots and a couple of scary faces which if you like Halloween then you’ll like itI love this movie even though it brings a tear to my eye in a couple of places

ok
Like all blu-rays when compared to watching the DVD version or an old video one watching this film is a clearer, more detailed experience and in many cases it's like looking at the film for the first time as the film stock used to transfer to Blu-Ray is usually "worked on" first to get as good a copy as possible. My taste in films may not be the same as yours so if you want to know about this film I suggest that you use the internet to find 2 or 3 reviews by experienced film reviewers and make your judgment whether to buy this film or not.I have watched approx 600 films in my life and have a collection of over 200 Blu-Ray's and I rate this one 7/10.
