I was skeptical about the reviews. I made the purchase before the reviews, I admit, but when I did I was wondering if I made a huge mistake. I messaged the seller right away. They assured me the shoes were in good condition and new. So I just waited. And here they are, just as if I bought them from a store myself.

I got the all black size 7 low tops in Men's for my Women's size 9 feet.I quite like my shoes! I use them everywhere as my main shoe--working out, going to classes, and going out. I purchased these back in August primarily for strength training, and they've held up quite well.Pros:* Super comfortable! I've never had shorter shoes like these that didn't irritate my heels, but from the start, my heels are just fine.* Honestly, they just look great. Except with some of my flared pants, they go with everything I own.* Perfect for my strength training workouts. I take them off when doing an exercise like planking, but for squats, they're fantastic. You really need flat-soled shoes for strength training, and these fit the bill perfectly!Cons:* I ride a motorcycle daily, and the bottoms of these are getting rubbed away from my sorta-spiky pegs. As a result, they've lost some of their grip.* One of the eyelets was defected when I got them. I don't notice a difference in wear, but up-close, you can definitely see it.* Because of my use level, the sides where my feet "bend" are starting to come up. If you modify your use, I'm sure you can prevent it or slow the deterioration. But that kind of thing should be expected of Chucks.* The shoes are a little long. While it was noticeable when I first got them, it really isn't now (several months later). My feet are of average size for a size 9 I believe, and while the width is perfect, the length is off by about an inch.Don't let the extended cons list deter you. These shoes are fantastic if they fit your feet right. However I'm unsure if, with my motorcycle pegs, these shoes will last a year. I'll definitely buy them again when they break on me.

I ordered these, about a year ago, still going strong. These are your typical Chucks, if you don't have much experience with them, you may be disappointed.I know going in that I need to order a half size smaller than normal and its gonna be at least month of constant wear before they break in. These are zero drop shoes and have no arch support. I love them, I wear them everyday to work except when the temps drop below 50 degrees F. Canvas shoes aren't very warm. I don't normally use the shoe laces that come with them, why would you when there's a whole world of possible color combos out there. To each their own i guess.Most important thing to know about buying these shoes, break them in. Jump in puddles, run around, squat, wear em to the store. But use good socks that won't fall. Once they are broken in, they are your best friend. Before they are broken in, beware of blisters. For what its worth, I've been wearing Chucks for the last 20 years.

I purchased these shoes to replace another pair that I have had for many years. I like these shoes very much. They are comfortable but do not provide much support if that is something you are concerned about. They are great for casual occasions. The ones I had before were cream and I decided I would like the white ones this time. One concern I have is that they will get dirty easily as my cream colored ones did, but I have found that scrubbing with oxiclean is a great way to take out stains and dirt. I have also used a magic eraser to clean the plastic parts of the shoes and it makes them look like new again almost. I have had my old pair for about five years, wearing them once or twice a week and they are still in pretty good condition. The problem that caused me to get a new pair is that I have had them so long, they have begun to smell not so great. Typically I wear a size 9 shoe but in these I wear a women’s size 8.5. I knew exactly what size to get from my other pair and the sizing has not changed luckily. On the amazon page, it is also nice that it states to get a half size smaller than your normal shoe size which is exactly accurate for me. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I imagine I will have these shoes for a long time and get much use out of them. I would recommend them to anyone for casual wear.

I ordered the same size that I have in my other pairs of chucks and they fit great. I am not sure if it is because my other pairs are older and I have simply broken them in but these ones feel a bit more narrow than my old converse. A little bit stiffer too. They are beginning to give me a small blister on the outside of my pinky toe on one foot, which never happened with any of my old ones. I have had them for a few months now and they still havent "broken in", but maybe I just need to abuse them a little more! I am also a person who DOES NOT need a lot of arch support though. I stand a move a lot at my job and chucks have always been my go to because they're nice and flexible. I would not recommend these for someone who has arch, back or knee problems. However they are flexible enough to fit insoles if you just want them for the style but need the support. They go well with nearly any outfit!

I bought these shoes for weightlifting since they're nice and flat and I can feel the ground under my feet. I like the look of these all black converse because they are nice and simple - I bought a pair of fun laces (purple and blue galaxy print) to make them stand out but they still look fairly clean and simple. My only issue with these is that I wear them for my whole workout which often includes pushups, mountain climbers, and planks and when I allow my toes to bend under, the seal between the fabric and the rubber sole puckers and I worry that they will start to separate at that point (I almost think they already are and I've only had them for about 2 months).

I like that I can always count on Converse of any style fitting. Just confirm your size and you’ll be fine. FYI… If your Converse are too tight then they’ll always be too tight because of the rubber surrounding the entire shoe and over the toes. I have been wearing converse for many many years. I still wear Converse to this day because the comfort and style continues to improve over the years. My Converse arrived quickly and when wearing them I feel like I’m walking on air. They’ve always looked cool, so I suppose that’s why I’m a die hard Converse fan.

I have many pairs of converse. so these added to my collection. good quality as mine last for years, and I like different colours to wear. converse usually come up big but I ordered a size four anyway as the 3 would b slightly too tight (although i do own a pair of 3,s). I am actually a size 3 1/2. these in a size four have literally rubbed my ankles raw! it has taken many days of cushioned plasters and two pairs of socks to get these comfortable to wear.
