I specifically got these for an old piano bench we have that sits on a tile floor. There are small metal brads on the bottom of the stool legs. It sounds terrible when sliding the bench on the tile, and the brads tend to catch on the grout lines as you move it around. These sliders make it much nicer when moving the bench around. The stool now moves quietly and smoothly, and the wider surface area on the bottom helps the feet glide across grout lines instead of falling into them.They are easy to install; you basically slide them on like tiny furniture socks. They are visible, but subtle so they don't look like a tacky add on. The silicone is stretchy, but the range of diameters you can fit it on is pretty narrow when it comes to chair/stool feet. (.8" to 1.2") These were perfect for my piano bench, but I don't know of anything else I own that I can put them on. It was a pack of 16, and now I'm not sure what I'll do with the other 12. If I wanted to get some sliders for other furniture with larger feet, I'll probably have the same issue with leftover pieces because it seems like the foot size on my furniture varies a lot. These particular sets would be perfect if you have a 4 chair set though.

I have been using softer felt stick on pads on the bottoms of the kitchen chairs that I bought at a big box store. They work well but don't tend to stay on for long working their way off the bottom of the chair.These will solve that problem. I obtained the large size since the chair legs are just over 1 " in diameter. The plastic sleeve was a bit difficult to slip over the end of each leg but once on are a nice tight fit. There is enough flexibility in the plastic sleeve that I was able to pull them over the bulge in the bottom of the chair leg. Took a minute or so for each leg but not an issue they are designed to fit over several sizes and the plastic is flexible while still very durable. Once all four were installed the chair slides quite easily across the floor. The felt is not a soft felt but rather a hard felt but it doesn't scratch or damage the floor. The soft felt do tend to also pick up dirt which makes them less efficient. These look like they will be more resistant to getting clogged with dirt so should work longer. The hard felt piece is well attached to the plastic sleeve and won't come off during use.All in all a good product and highly recommended.

This is an initial look review. At this point I have installed them on 4 chairs of two different designs, and they definitely are an improvement over the standard self-adhesive felt pads. They slide well, seem much more tough, and much less prone to collecting and showing debris.The chair leg slider/protectors were able to fit four different styles of rectangular chair legs that covered a range of chair leg perimeters including: 4.0 inches, 5.3 inches, all the way up to 5.96 inches (I'm not sure I could get them on a leg larger than that). The stated range for "large" is 3.7 to 4.7 inches, but I found that (especially when they have been warmed in the sun) these will tolerate a larger amount of stretch than the product description shows, but your hands will need to be strong enough able to stretch them out. Below the lower dimension the elastomer will not be stretched enough to cause them to stay on, so at that point you will need to move to the next size down.

After trying regular felt pads on the bottom of my sofa legs and those repeatedly falling off and collecting dog hair I'd figured it was time to give these a go. I am very pleased with how easy they were to install. The clear silicone sleeve goes up high enough to cover not just the adjustable foot piece on my sofa, but also part of the leg. I think that is what makes these so much more functional. After using for a week they have not slipped off like the felt pads did instantly and they also appear to be attracting less dog hair. Very pleased! I will likely be ordering more for my dining chairs. I only wish the seller had more felt color options.

We have tried a lot of other products to keep our kitchen chairs from scraping up the wood floor -- the plastic, nail in tips continued to scuff the floor, while the felt stick on pads just gummed up, collected hair and became useless pretty fast. These are amazing -- they applied super fast and easy, even over the old failed plastic tips and have the protectiveness of felt but the durability of plastic. The way the felt is molded to the rubber sleeve is amazing. I'm buying another couple sets of these for the inevitable day someday when they wear out. But they seem pretty heavy duty, so I doubt that will be any time soon. So relieved for my floors!

Quality is very good. Thick stretchy, grippy rubber for the upper and thick, firm, durable felt on the bottom.Pay attention to the sizes though. I didn't read close enough and I got the small, which is a little bigger than a nickel in diameter. (Very small) I can't really imagine what this size would be useful for, but the construction and materials are high quality, so I'll get the large and see how they perform.

Perfect fit for dining table chairs. Chair leg protector move easily on the floor, especially no noise while moving the chairs.these are worth the money and I highly recommend it.

These were exactly what ai needed to protect my floors. We have bar stools around our island that get plenty of use and I was afraid dragging them back and forth would scratch our floors. I purchased the small leg covers and they were perfect. You can stretch the opening a bit to get them over the foot of the chair. The stools slide perfectly along the floor. they don’t drag or stick. This was an excellent purchase and i’ll be buying more for the other chairs in my dining room.
