WOLVERINE Men's Rev DuraShocks Construction Boot

I want to like the Wolverine Rev, been wearing Wolverine DuraShock boots for many years and been wearing the Bolt for almost 2 years. Seen the Rev and figured hey why not give these a shot. Have no doubt they are on par with the rest of the Wolverine lineup although until they do a redesign on their lacing system it’s a no go for me.Received my first pair yesterday 09/10/2022 visually appealing and appear to be of good build quality well at least up to the point of lacing them up, put first shoe on, gently pulled the laces and pop one of the fabric/material loops came out of the shoe, so naturally I grabbed the piece that came off to inspect and the area that is placed in the shoe was sticky, no sign of any type of thread to indicate that they are sewn on, definitely an oversight with the lacing design.I ain’t mad at Wolverine over this as I’ve worn out 4 pairs of Wolverine DuraShocks a year for at least 20 years, would like to see Wolverine address the design flaw as the “REV” looks to be more durable than the “BOLT”

I bout these in september of 2023 and walk on a concrete floor for about 10 to 15 miles per day and they are comfortable but with just walking around for long periods of time they have started separating in the back on both sides and the rubber styling started peeling off the shoe about a month into using them. I own a pair of wolverine work boots and they are awesome and are still good but these arms of the same quality of those shoes. For the price of these shoes I would have liked them to last longer

These shoes are very comfortable. I didn't have to change my shoes every couple hours to break em in. I wore these on the 1st day for a 10 hour work shift with no foot pain. They do come with pretty good insoles which is a plus. Let's see how long they last.

Out the box they feel great and comfortable. I got them a half size bigger I recommend it 👌
