My cats absolutely love this thing. So much so we are on our 2nd one! The bird looks like a humming bird in action which is helpful since they watch them out the window. The first day they had it they got the battery out. A few hours later they got the bird off. The next day the flower was ripped off. After about two weeks, my lovely monsters ripped it apart to where they pulled the wires out. So I have to say they love it to give it that much attention lol!

I know, I know - You get what you pay for! This little bird is quite cute and his fluttering wings do mesmerize the kitties HOWEVER that’s it! First this is extremely tiny. It comes in a plastic container similar to cupcake tins. The bird is made of a covered foam like product but the nose is a sharpened toothpick!! This can do SEVERE damage to your fur baby. My cats are older and fairly gentle with their toys so it has stayed together. However I purchased 2 one for my daughters kitties and within 5 minutes there wasn’t a feather left ! I gave the one star because the bird is actually quite cute especially in flight but this toy requires your constant monitoring while they play. It tips over easily and parts do come off easily that could be swallowed. But please if you decide to purchase cut that nose down and use a nail smoothing board to soften it up. The picture I posted is the cut down version and honestly I have cut it back even further since the photo. Save your money and apply it to a better toy that doesn’t have the potential of taking your cats eye out!

It didn’t last long cats destroyed the bird. Wish it was better quality and made more durable.

Cute toy. My cats enjoyed playing with it but broke not even a full week of us having it. If it was more sturdy, it would’ve been perfect.

The concept is good however the design is awful. For starters the base is TINY. It's not sturdy enough to hold up to a full grown cat wrestling with it. It looks like something you'd find in a dollar store. It runs on one AAA battery. I have the butterfly toy with the white base that has the yellow and blue butterfly attachments. This is the same overall concept - object on a metal wire that spins around. The base is about 1/5 the size of the butterfly toy so my cat easily knocks it over. She's 8 pounds of fluff and is a bit rambunctious with her toys. It is a bird so I can only imagine the murderous thoughts running through her head as she plays with it. My guess is this is supposed to be a hummingbird - which means a long beak. The beak is shaped like a nail (it's plastic) and it's sharp. One slip and it could take an eye out. I'm going to attempt to snip that off. The wire that the bird hangs off is also short. They show a picture of a kitten leaping at it - my cat actually has to bend down to play with it. It just goes around in a circle and they should have faced the bird out the other way. My last complaint is that the switch to turn it on is on the bottom. The other toys I have the switch is on top so my cat can turn them on if she wants (she's quite clever). I'm disappointed but then I should have know for the price (it was cheap) this would not be a great toy. Not worth returning it but I would skip this and just get the butterfly. My cat plays with it but she has to be supervised.

As soon as you open up the flower and bird, it is apparent that it is cheaply built. Yet, it is one of the cats favorite toys, considering that if you have an aggressive cat bird chaser, it might only last ONE Day. So here is my advice.... study the construction of your new toy before you crank it up and get familiar with the assembly because sooner or later your cat will tear the little bird from its rotating wire and if you want to get at least a couple of days longer at of your purchase, you will want to know how to repair it. Not a difficult task, but it will never fly the same again as when new, but will still attract kitty's attention. Note, to fix, you will need 2 needle nose pliers. I am buying another one so I can study its actual assembly in more detail before I put it into action this time. Also needs a AAA

This toy is T I N Y!!! Does not look like the picture, and incrediibly cheaply made. I put in a brand new AAA battery, the bird spun once and stopped; DID NOT WORK AT ALL The body of the bird looked as if it had been bitten; it is made out of material that is similar to plastic packing peanuts...definitely NOT meant for cats with sharp teeth. This toy is NOT worth the money; as it was broken within 5 minutes of unpacking I cannot return it. $10.99 down the drain. DO NOT BUY THIS CAT TOY!!!!

The media could not be loaded. He loved this from the fist time we turned it on. It is worth the money and a AAA battery. Buck will drag it all over the house. Would by again and agin.
