There are so many brands of snail mucin that look exactly like the original, and while I don't love that they package it to look exactly the same, this one really IS the same as far as the texture and how it feels on the skin. There are others that I believe are just moisturizers and not really snail mucin.That said, if you see this one and it's a little less money than the other brands are selling for, it is probably a very good value as I can't tell the difference in the active ingredients listed or the way it effects my skin. I like these snail mucin products because they allow me to use more retinol with less irritation, and that's a good thing!

There is a cute snail on the external packaging, as well as instructions, ingredients, lot date and expiration date (see photos). The product is 100% organic, not tested on animals, doesn't harm snails, and is good for up to 12 months after opening. The internal packaging is simplistic, which is good because I'd rather spend money on the product inside! There is a card inside the box stating to do a patch test behind your ear (always a good idea with new products) to test for allergies. I had no issues with the test, nor any irritation on my face after application.The cream is a little more difficult to handle than your standard moisturizer, but it's NOT your standard moisturizer, is it? Because of this, it even comes with a small scoop. It has a unique texture but isn't slimy. In addition to the external packaging being shrink-wrapped/safety sealed, there was also an internal freshness lid that I would recommend using for the life of the product. The cream went on cool feeling and absorbed within a couple minutes, leaving my skin feeling silky smooth. I did not notice any stickiness after the cream was fully absorbed. There was little or no scent. My skin continued to feel soft and hydrated throughout the day. I'm really enjoying this product and will continue to use it. I'm excited to see if there is any improvement in tone and maybe even fine lines after a while.

Texture is a bit strange. It's kind of a whitest clear goo or slime. When you dip finger and lift out to get some, you'll see small strands or strings. Was expecting it to be sticky but didn't seemed to be after use. Not sure if should be using more but because of the texture, didn't want to put too much on. Skin did seemed to like it. Some pores seemed smaller but maybe that was just skin being moisturized. Kind of like except not a fan of the gooey texture so 4 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  This mucin is a definte 10/10 for me!!! I do reviews and have been for a short while now. It's rare that I come across a beauty product that gives REAL results. This one hit the mark. I've seen mucin trending on TikTok and I already had in my cart, but when I saw this up for grabs, I jumped on it asap. The glow and softness this product gave me just blew me away. It was a hit on the first try. I followed the instruction card and perrformed a patch test behind my ear first. I let it stay for a day just to see if I had a reaction. All was good, I started with a clean face and applied a serum. Then I followed up with the mucin...it was so smooth. Now, the texture of the mucin was close to a gooey slim, which I expect. That's how I knew it was official. Run and get this, you won't regret it. It's been over a week and I use it everyday! A little goes a long way. 10/10

Thus purchase was my mistake. I thought it was Cos rx bc it’s literally packaged exactly like Cos rx. Do not make the same mistake I did!!!! The product is NOTHING LIKE Cos rx!!!

I honestly don't think I am a fan of this product. It has a weird gooey texture. I tried it out for a week and just couldn't get past the whole texture issue. It did make my skin soft however.
