Do Not Do Business with BNEHS - they lie!
Bought commode chair - it was adequate but did not work for my husband. I contacted seller to send me a return shipping label and they would not. If the chair was mot defective they would not accept its return. I explained the chair did not work for my husband and they said it was inconvenient to have it returned, I should try to resell myself. The product ad mentions that the company takes returns but they didn’t want it back. Said I would have to pay for shipping and a restocking fee. I shipped the worthless chair back to seller & they did refund the purchase price but have not reimbursed me for the $108.95 it cost to ship it back to them. This is wrong! Do not purchase anything from BNEHS!!

Great concept once you think about it
When I first read the description, I wasn't sure what to make of this product. "Commode wheelchair...transport chair for toilets". I was envisioning a transport chair that you would use for doctor visits, but with a commode bucket attached. Just didn't seem to make sense. The more I thought about it, though, the more I realized that this was a great option for home use for people that not only need help performing certain activities, but also need help getting to where those activities are performed.A good example of this is the fact that it can be used as a shower chair, but with the added benefit that it helps the person easily get to the shower. Another example of the utility of this product is demonstrated in one of the listing pictures - the transport chair can be used to take the person to any part of the home, including outside. If "nature calls", there's no scrambling to get back in - the commode chair is right there always at hand.Once I realized that "transport chair" can apply to navigating around one's home, and doesn't have to mean being at a doctor's office, the advantages of this product really started making sense. The chair itself is very sturdy, with decent foot rests and reliable locking wheels. The platform seat is padded and fairly comfortable, and the chair even came with a drink and cell phone holder. There are some concessions that are made. If you use it as a shower chair, it will likely need to be dried right after use. The toilet seat itself is closed in the front, which may be uncomfortable or difficult to use for some people. Also, the commode bucket slides in and out on a track - since we use buckets liners, my preference is to lift the bucket straight up from the chair directly using the handles, keeping the liner in place and minimizing any chance of the bucket slipping out of our grasp. These concessions aside, I feel that this can be a good addition for many households, and can provide great benefit and value.

This chair will tilt forward with the patient
I thought the chair was going to work great until I sat in it and when I leaned forward the chair fell forward. After this happened I would not put my husband in it, it would be to dangerous. I took the chair to have it returned and it was going to cost me $80 dollars. I can’t afford that so now I’m stuck with a chair we can’t use.

Just in Case
Eventually Getting Hip Surgery and getting medical implements that may be needed. Easy to use and comes with detachable toilet bucket or can fit over toilet. I personally will not be using it for that. I wanted something affordable and short term. Seat is comfortable but I would not want to sit in all day long. The arms raise up but i feel it takes from the sturdiness of the chair with no sides making it not very sturdy to stand up from and might tip from body weight. The wheels all lock and appear to be durable and do not slip or move. The footrest is adjustable but do not raise if a person needs to raise legs. Easy to clean and disinfect. Does not collapse or fold up so could not travel with. Seems lightweight compared to a regular wheelchair, I would use just around the home. Directions/illustrations with product. Information/pictures on features in product listing. Reasonable price for quality. Comparable to other styles/brands of same.
