The only downfall is if your cat just sits within a foot or so of the cat flap and your living room is within ear shot as the lock click is quite loud and can become rather annoying after 15 mins! It is nice knowing only our cat can get in though.

They work brilliantly until they stop, because of breakages that come from the way our cat lives. This happens far too frequently. These need to be made much stronger. The battery chamber in particular, gives up the ghost far too easily, cracking and then failing to work reliably. A brilliant idea that needs a small redesign. We will then not need to spend a small fortune so the little beggar doesn't end up howling to be let in at 3.00 am on a cold winter's morning

Bought these to go with my cat flap. A good price, as I'd shopped around.I thought they might be a little bulky, but the cats didn't seem to mind them. Lightweight, and always triggered the catflap without any hassle.

Whats to say, it's a smallish collar key, neither cat seems to mind it and it works. Had several over the years from this supplier as eventually after about a year/18 months the collar keys seem to start eating batteries and the cats get locked out. So now I just replace the entire thing once a year.Much better and smaller than the magnetic equivalents.

The infra red collar worked well with the infra red cat flap but unfortunately the batteries didn't last for long. Have had to replace after just a few weeks

I bought the cat flap kit that came with 1 key around a year ago, so when i got another cat, ordering one of these was easy and straight forward, the cat flap detected it straight away. Nice and quick delivery, no complaints

The collar itself is ok but the batteries were slightly corroded, we replaced them and the collar is working perfectly.

Excellent product. My cat is a happy chappy now
