Planchette glides smoothly!
I am very pleased with this. Ignore other reviews of this that complain about cheap construction; the board may not be wood, (actually a good thing), but it's NOT cardboard & is strong, (it's also double sided in case one side gets damaged!) It's surface is smooth which is important for the Planchette to glide. There are more expensive wood boards but the rough wood surface prevents their Planchette from gliding smothly.

Fun RPG Prop
Ordered this for a gaming session with friends who were visiting a psychic and communicating with the spirits. Made for good atmosphere and a bit of fun.

Love! Love! Love!
This is the best spirit board I have ever worked with. Much better than the famous brand maker's version. It is double-sided so when you wear out one side, you have the other. Even the box it came in is good enough to use as a board - I saved it just in case.For the price, compared to the famous brand maker's version, I'd buy it again and again and again. Hopefully, this will last a long time and I won't have to that.The cons: The planchet could be better. I live in the south, and on a hot, sticky day, it doesn't glide over the board easily. Some felt pads for the bottom would help a great deal. But still, I love it.

I took a shot with this one, I tried seeing in the description if it was made of wood but couldn’t find anything, but it’s just Laminated printed picture on it and the planchette is very sticky on the board.
