I've been using this one for years . It's legit castor oil for external use. If you want to use it internally this isn't for you , and yes you want it in a glass bottle I'd purchasing it for that reason . This works wonders though for hair growth and on skin. It's great not sure why the bad reviews at all. The smell well that's literally what castor oil smells like and yes it's thick, however that doesn't mean it's bad. Do your research people instead of putting bad reveiws up for no reason. Also don't try and brush your hair with oil in it . It will snap off and break if your not careful. Use this before washes or in very small amounts.

I love castor oil and all the benefits it brings. I was excited when I saw this HUGE bottle for such a great price. This is an excellent value for the cost.This smells nice, and helps keep my skin moisturized and soft. This is the largest bottle I've seen of castor oil. Such a huge value.

Castor oil has been known for its great moisturizing properties and hair growth. Although it generally has a high unpleasant smell/ taste the smell of this oil was very faint when using it. It produced a great shine and feel to hair when I used it in my sister's hair which was damaged due to chemical treatments from relaxing and her hair generally dries out fast. Over time her ends looked healthier and her hair had less shedding during usage.My hair however was dried out due to colouring and sun damage and this oil worked great. My hair felt so well conditioned after every use.I mixed a few drops in some of the hair product that I expect to use use at that specific time because the oil itself is so thick so it is a bit hard to distribute through the hair on its own. And because of the smell, other hair products help to mask it.I've been using some on my lashes and on my eyebrows and I don't really see a huge difference, only in my lashes but I will give it time, things take time so I plan on updating to share my progress.This was a great buy for the amount. And i definitely recommend this.
