Product looks and works great. Great for a low usage “plug in and leave alone” application. Not sure about it’s durability for high use mobile applications as the plastic sheath around cable appears a bit thin.

Not the best quality VGA cable i have ever seen but they are fine for the price. Works fine. Ends cables seems to be softer and so I doubt on their longevity capabilities. Video output resolution is limited in VGA and I saw considerable difference to the HDMI output in my projector.I had to return this product as I was not aware that sound output doesn’t work with VGA cables. Separate output is needed for sound. I would rather go for HDMI port option where both video and audio goes along via same cable.Also , to note these are available for half price on monoprice online site however after adding shipping, it cost the same amount as here. But actual retail price is half. If you have many things to order from monoprice which makes free shipping then it’s wise to include this product in that shipment.

This worked fine for me. I don't doubt that others had trouble, but my cable has been fine. I'm using it to connect an old PC to a big screen TV with VGA input. Quality is fine, and I appreciate the thing cord. That makes this much more portable and convenient to me. I'm pretty sure that if you pull on the cable instead of the plug, based on the reviews, it'll damage the cable, so I don't do that.Short version? I wouldn't recommend for educational or commercial use where people will be hard on it, but for travel or portable use, it's perfect, and fine for home use if you're careful. I'd buy again...in fact I'm thinking about getting a longer one.

VGA cable was really nice a slim with the gold accents, but it is very short.

At the beginning when I was browsing Amazon, I thought this item was a cable. And then ‘BOOM’ I hit the buy-now button. I received the package and opened the the wrappers. And Yup, it is a cable, and it is 3ft.

I travel with these in a mobile environment and really like them. They are lighter than the normal cord and easier to wrap around the monitor... BUT fair warning... they are somewhat delicate and DO NOT last near as long as the thicker ones! I buy about 2 or 3 of these a year as the bending up near the connector will break the inner wires fairly easily if you move it around a lot like me. I wrap them around the base of the monitor and then put it in a travel case. (I know, the worst thing you can do to these cords!) They are mostly inexpensive, so I just throw it out when it starts to go bad and get another one from the replacement stock I keep in my travel bag!

it does exactly what it's supposed to and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart; it's a simple thing, so there really isn't much to say which I suppose is a good thing in this case

I like these cables because of the slim design. It lasted about 9 months before it started changing most of the colors to green. Which wouldn't be a big deal, but the way I ran my cable for cable management , its kinda of a pain to redo, but I'll still purchase another one.I would recommend this cable.

Initially no issues; but Like the over customers, I had one start to fail on me about 5 months ago (screen colors off). Very little movement as connected to a KVM. Lucky I bought a few spare and just swapped it. Cheap in both price and quality (most likely weak solder or some other issue with the solid point breaking due to cable movement - no design thought on cable tension

It's compact and flexible, but broke within a month. I carried it around with my laptop so I could plug it in when I went places with monitors, so it got connected and disconnect and thrown around a lot. I have another one that's been in the same installation for years and still works fine, but carrying around a slim and light cable seems like a more natural use case than just using it to hook up a monitor on a desk.

Fantastic for reducing clutter behind the desk, I love that this has a stubby connector as well -- no need to add the additional bulk of a traditional connector head.Do be sure you need 1.5' though -- you end up using up footage a lot sooner than you think

Love the low profile -- I needed this for an LCD monitor that was turning into a Smart Mirror and the cable sticks out the back of the monitor, so the low profile is perfect. Good signal quality so far.
