Fogarty Pure New Wool Temperature Regulating Washable Super King Size Mattress Protector

The quality of the item is good. There are wool-mark logos all over the protector, which is the reason for reducing one star.I would have liked it to be plain. Another issue is the protector coming off the mattress. I have had some protectors that would not budge after weeks of use as they had strong elastic holding them. This elastic does not hold it well, allowing it to come off after a couple of days use. This makes it loose another star. On the comfort level, this is great and feels warm to sleep. A good quality item let down by some small things.

This really didn't work for me - claims that it is proven to give 'the best night's sleep' 'temperature regulating wool' fell very short of the mark. It made me far too hot after only one night of trying.On saying that, the manufacturing quality is good, just don't buy if you get a little warm at night.

OMG! At last a product that doesn't make me too hot and does exactly what it says on the box. I have both the wool mattress protector and the wool duvet and combined they make fantastic bedding. My husband and I used to argue as he got cold and I got too hot ( I believe this is quite a common bickering point amongst couples) and we could never agree which duvet to have on the bed and in the summer if a duvet at all. Some nights if I was hot I would decide to get out for a drink and cool down a bit and then when I got back in to bed it felt like the bed was still as hot as when I got out of it and it used to make me fuming as I just couldn't cool down.I have to say since having these wool products we haven't bickered once and I haven't been too hot and no complaints from the opposition about being cold either, so it really suits both of us (put it this way, I would know about it if he wasn't happy!). It feels quite weighty but is quite thin. To be honest I like it being thing as when the cat gets on the bed you can't tell where he was lying and I like the weight as we are used to a natural feather duvet anyway, it's just been a great solution to a big irritation.They are very well made product, as you would expect from Fogarty, it has the wool label all over the product and a cream cover but you can't see it through the bed sheets. I have washed them as well with no issues. Great products and I have been recommending to friends. Will definitely by wool again.Very happy customer after lots of good nights sleep! :-)
