The SakAshland Crossbody Purse - Women's Leather Handbag For Everyday & Travel - Cross Body With Adjustable Shoulder Strap

I purchased this for travel abroad. I wanted crossbody style, with sturdy slash resistant straps, plus I needed smooth zippers for my surgically compromised hands. This purse satisfies my requirements. The leather is a gorgeous color ( I chose green ) and the texture soft ands supple. The brown bottom also makes a wonderful contrast. I especially like the tassel pulls on the zippers, they are beyond helpful for my hands. This purse is small enough to wear under a bulky coat for crowded settings if you are paranoid about theft, since the tassels do facilitate the zippers opening easily. Functionally, the interior is roomy, perfect for essentials, and I like the lack of multi compartments. I also purchased a signal blocking bag for my cell phone, passport and credit card which fits beautifully inside. I cannot manage the velcro of the signal blocking bag, so I tested leaving this open inside the purse with the purse zipped closed. No reception on my phone inside the zipped purse !!! Security and style..... I am Very pleased with this purchase.

I love this! It's just the right size, great quality and very stylish. Has the 2 outside pockets which i like for keys and my lipstick. I had wanted a cross- over purse and this fits me perfectly!!

This purse is perfect in every way! It's honestly so beautiful and soft and lightweight and the strap isn't too long, like some newer purses. Sometimes a long strap can add extra weight to a purse. The color is rich and true brown, which I prefer to an orange-brown. It has just the right amount of space and the pockets are nice sized! It's easy to get in and out of. I'm going to enjoy using for a long time!

Update. I’m actually wondering if this is a knock off. The zipper handles are completely different than the ones in the photos shown on Amazon. I can’t prove it and I still love the purse, but I have to wonder. In my two photos I’m showing both sides of the purse with the zippers. They are identical to each other but if you look at the photos on Amazon, the two zippers are different and one is longer.Beautiful purse. I’m thrilled with it. Lots of pockets and the strap can be used both over the shoulder and cross body.

I have two different colors of this particular handbag. It’s soft quality leather, has 2 zippered outside pockets, one on each side, for keys and whatever else is needed to be easily and quickly accessible. The cross body shoulder strap is leather also which I like better than the similar SAC style with the canvas strap. It’s a really good size for everything that I need with a little room to spare. This dark pink color is super pretty. I think it’s a great value for the money.

Shipping was very slow comparatively to most all other orders but soooo worth the wait. I have been looking for 2 years for this bag. I had to dig deep here to find it. Beautifully made, fine craftsmanship and materials. Strap adjustment easy and quick. Not crazy about open pocket alongside zip pocket inside. It tends to open up clogging contents. But this is minor. Crazy delicious color, great grain leather. Heavy duty zippers

This isn’t my first Sak bag and I bought the same colors as my other one, just smaller. The leather bag part feels as soft and pretty as the big one I have but this strap is looks cheaper than a Walmart half plastic belt. Totally takes away from the quality look of this purse. I’ll still use it but I am also aware that it looks like a bag I probably bought from Kohls with my 30% off coupon. It doesn’t look like a high quality bag because of the strap. I still like it and will use it but that might matter to someone else. It doesn’t look like I paid $85 for it, but that’s also cheaper than the sak website, which also has reviews of people complaining about the cheap strap so this site is legit, it’s not them, it’s how the sak made the straps. Bummer.

I love this brand and the size of this crossbody. I often have to carry my husband’s “stuff” and always have plenty of room. The crossbody strap also makes it easy for me to negotiate my cane and anything else I might have to carry or do. I know my purse is always next to me, and don’t worry about it slipping down, or someone grabbing it. Win-win in my book. Like all “the sak” purses (I also have a number of hobo bags from this brand) it is well made of high quality leather, it’s very comfortable to use, and the price is right. I once had a woman in a waiting room try to buy it from me on the spot for much more than I had paid for it. I gave her the Amazon info instead.
