These aren’t the bigger gawky earrings but are very elegant. They’re made by the brand 1926 which was sold at Robinson Macys back in the day. Loved that brand and owned many pieces. Wore these to a summer wedding in Phoenix that was 1920s Gatsby themed and they were perfect. I definitely recommend! You can wear them to work, dinner, pretty much any occasion and they will compliment you nicely. If you’re looking for something a bit on the large/standout side these maybe less than what you’re looking for.

I like that they are lightweight and versatile. The backs are pretty secure. The size is perfect: not too big or too small. I'm glad I ordered several items though because of how they were packaged. I believe the earrings were cushioned somewhat by the other items they were boxed up with. They were sent in the tiny plastic bag in the photos and as you can see, they got shaken up a bit. I'd hate to see the end result had they been ordered alone! But that's on the shipper not the seller, so no stars deducted.

These lovely 1928 Black Teardrop earrings have a very realistic vintage look. A lot of detail has gone into the design and production of these earrings. The black faceted stone looks very much like onyx. Good movement of the earrings with the faceting catches the light and the miligrain etching around the stone adds to the charm. Plastic shields and stud backings ensure they will be secure. Light and comfortable to wear. The dimensions are: length - 1" and 3/8" at widest point of stone. If you are a fan of big, bold earrings, you may find these too diminutive however, if you like pretty, dainty authentically designed vintage-style drop earrings then I have no hesitation in recommending them. I have received many compliments, particularly when wearing them with the matching 1928 pendant.

The earring posts arrived bent and the earrings themselves are much smaller than expected however I'm still pleased with them. They're dainty and are the perfect addition to the Victorian Style choker necklace with teardrop beading. Caution recommended concerning size and perfection as posts were bent but still wearable.

I bought four of these (and the matching necklace) for my wedding, one for me and each of my three bridesmaids. Beautiful and elegant without breaking the bank. When you examine then closely they're obviously not real, but I'm told the people attending couldn't tell during any of the normal wedding activities. My dad especially approved of the not breaking the bank part. ;) Several years later I still wear them as they can work for wedding formal or for a nice touch on a not as formal outfit. I occasionally catch my bridesmaids wearing them as well, at times when it's not because they know I'll see.

These are very nice earrings. They aren't too big for my short neck! I am always pleased with the 1928 brand jewelry.

I bought these earrings for my mother and she absolutely loves them! The loves studded drop earrings and she wears these every day. They are smaller than I originally thought, but they’re really the perfect size! Very dainty, but elegant.

I like black earrings, especially dangle ones and these are very pretty. Just what I wanted. I was not disappointed.
