I love it. Might be slightly overpriced, but c’est la vie.

This is an excellent soft case that does what it says it will do.The people who are saying the center section will only hold 4 knives need to pull the 4 knives they have in it, turn them around, and put the clips on the OUTSIDE of the sleeve.I have 8 knives in the center pouch, all are at least medium sized with a few large ones, (Amalgam, GB2, Tropen) and there is no issue whatsoever.They sit tight and aren't banging into each other or the outside pouches, it's completely fine if you just use your head.A very well made product, but evidently not idiot proof.I guess it could have included pictures or instructions, but damn guys.Figure it out.

Loaded up with some of my knife collection. Doesn't take up much room which I like but the mid section storage flap could have bigger slots. It is double sided for storing knives but unless they are thin, it is hard to load up the mid section with knives on both sides.

Great quality, very easy to use. My only complaint is that the pocket material is very thick and not flexible, so if a knife is too big it won't have any chance of fitting. It would be better if the pockets were some kind of stretchy material to accommodate bigger knives. Otherwise, a very nice storage bag!

Over the years I've purchased a lot from Amazon, this knife set is one of my all time favorite buys.I will not review the individual knives here, but to say that they are beautifully crafted, and very sharp. Check out the reviews on each of the individual knives for owner feedback. Some have European style blades (sharpened on 2 edges) some are Japanese with single edges. All are nicely balanced and made in Japan.As for the set, consider the assortment. Many 9 piece sets give you an odd assortment of mostly small knives along with cheap scissors, an ugly block, and a throw away steel hone. This set, as the photo shows, has 7 well chosen knives, a beautifully finished bamboo block (the same one in the Shun sets) and a full size whetstone. So far as I can tell, the whetstone (KAI model AP-0305) is not otherwise available in the U.S., but it uses well chosen 400/1000 grit. Equivalent stones sell for about $60 on Amazon.I have not owned them long enough to report on long term wear, they have wood handles so should be hand washed, but expect them to provide excellent service for many years.

The padding is phenomenal. Very safe for your treasures. I have about 15 of these and am very happy with them. I store short term and longer storage. The longer storage is 'treated' and wrapped in wax paper. This item has two zippers and closes well. I use a desiccant and it fits well. The zipper, of course is the area where moisture comes in but the desiccant is shielded well enough.

I have another version of this bag from several years back. The old one has better padding and only holds 6 knives in the center instead of 8. The new one sounds better as it has 2 extra compartments. Well, the new design is 4x2 instead of 3x3. The extra compartments are way to tight to put a normal size knife in all the slots without fighting it. 4 will fit fine but if you need all 8 look elsewhere or plan on a fight everytime. There is a little extra room in the bag if you have some individual soft cases you want to throw in.

I didn’t buy my first one of these bags from Amazon. I bought it ten years ago in a knife store. A small bag like this has been with me day-to-day for decades. It keeps a lot of daily necessities out of my pockets. Until a decade ago, my bags were always some kind of leather. And heavy. These bags are light, sturdy and relatively scuff-proof. The original was beginning to wear thin enough to see light through the fabric and if my new replacement lasts as long I”ll be pleased. The internal pouches designed for pocket knives will handle thumb drives, toiletries, my puffer, other meds, camera batteries, camera neck strap, flashlight, pens and pencils, etc, with extra room for wallets, notebook, small camera, cellphone, tissues, n95 masks, a handful of wrapped hard candies, small water bottle. Take out the water bottle and it will close over a common size tablet. The bag looks good . And still looks pretty good when it’s almost worn out. Truly, I do not leave home without it.

Sirve para almacenar 18 cuchillos comodamente aunque yo le quite la parte intermedia que se sujeta con velcro porque me gusta almacenar solo 10 cuchillos de tamaños medianos y grandes que caben muy bien en las cabidades laterales, me parece de buena calidad, aguanta mucho peso, incluso si tuviera 18 cuchillos SR1 de 7.4 oz cada uno, es muy practico, y me parece hasta barato para lo mucho que sirve y protege tu inversion, muy contento con mi compra

This is an excellent way to carry your knives. The center holder is for slimmer ZT's only which in some ways makes little sense as most ZT knives are larger overbuilt knives. Quality and performance is good however I have not used it for that long. It's made to hold 18 knives which is a fair amount of weight. Handles are good for this. Padding is good but have to be careful with the center holder as knives may bang together. If you're careful you can avoid this.
