Great for the price
Great size, easy to use, simple roller. Works great on my heel/arch pain. I like how the nubs are flat, rather than spiky. The nubs are also a little hard, so personally I think it feels best when wearing socks. Rubber is solid and feels like it will last forever.

Least expensive and best hands-free plantar fasciitis treatment option
For reference I tried the boots and a massage ball thing. The ball moves around too much to use seated at a desk hands-free. The boots put pressure points on the bottom of my feet and they're obviously difficult to sleep in; they also just didn't feel like they were doing much. This roller thing works amazingly well. I can use it while seated at my desk; it stays in place enough to use without having to touch it with your hand. You can dig in with different parts of your foot. And, for my plantar fasciitis, my biggest issue was that it needed to be stretched out. It's funny because this is by far the least expensive option and it worked the best.To fix my plantar fasciitis all I did was wear Nike Air Max shoes in the house at all times combined with Dr.Scholl's Plantar Fasciitis Pain Relief Orthotics inserts. When I'm at my desk working I take off a shoe and roll my foot out for a few minutes at a time with this roller. That's it. Before I started I was limping bad and had trouble walking; I was in significant pain. After a few hours on the FIRST DAY I saw a huge improvement (it hurt to massage out, but in a good way). By day 3 of following this routine my pain was now minor enough to no longer be a huge issue. I did not take any medications (I cannot take NSAIDS).I got into this situation by not wearing shoes on my tile floor or using my sandals. I'm in a hot climate, so I tend to fall into this habit. Don't do it if you're prone to plantar fasciitis; it's not worth it. Just keep wearing your shoes and try to roll your feet out and stretch them as often as is feasible.

Compact and Effective Relief for Sore Feet
Picked up this BESKAR foot massager roller to help with foot soreness after long days, and it’s been a real help. The textured surface gives a deep, targeted massage right where it’s needed most — especially in the arches and heels. It’s firm but not painful, and feels great after being on my feet all day.The size is just right — easy to use at home and small enough to throw in a bag if I’m traveling. I usually just roll my feet while sitting and watching TV. No batteries, no setup — just simple and it works.Since using this roller, my feet feel less tight and a lot more comfortable by the end of the day. Definitely a handy little tool to have around.

Well worth the money.
I had nerve pain on my heel, I was told I could use a tennis ball. It was hard to use it for the pain. I found this and it's so easy to use, it sure helps with the pain. It's very firm and needs to use, just rolling it back-and-forth on my heel. And with this product it doesn't roll away like the tennis ball does! Well worth the money.

Didn’t work for me
I bought this because I have what I suspect to be plantar fasciitis. I have horrible pain in my heels that I have had for years. Walking is incredibly difficult, especially when getting out of bed or when I go on walks. I did a bunch of research and saw loads of people recommending foot massagers. I mostly saw people suggesting to use a ball under your feet but I wanted to try something specific for feet that had “spikes” to hopefully really get in there and massage everything out. Unfortunately, this product doesn’t work well for me. It isn’t a bad product by any means and I definitely think it could work well for others, but I have wide feet so my feet sort of get crushed between the edges and it also makes my feet itch like CRAZY! It is almost unbearable. I now know that is expected to happen according to the paper the massager came with, but I had no idea about this and wouldn’t have purchased it had I known. I ended up purchasing a heated automatic foot massager, an automatic massager for my calves, knee high compression socks, and some shoe inserts specific for plantar fasciitis - hopefully this combination will finally give me some relief.
