Treat ya self... for pups
I have an 11 month old F1 labradoodle (first gen., 50/50) & my girls coat is definitely still growing out but it leans much more lab than poodle. That being said all her "scruff", particularly around her muzzle & legs is pretty long & becomes a mess after a full day of playing. She's such a good girl & will allow me to brush her out but I can tell she doesn't really care for the slicker.I was excited to see a leave-in product that was plant based with natural ingredients so I scooped this up quick. She had a few small mats so I gave her coat a few mists & applied an extra squirt to the problem areas. It worked great on her coat in general, the slicker brush without a doubt was able to reach her undercoat far more easily than just dry brushing & her hair was silky soft afterward. She didn't have any severe knots, more just tangles but getting those out by her feet are always the hardest. Feet are never a dog's favorite but I did get it done in half the time with the spray. I added a few extra squirts here & there where needed. My dog seems to have mild allergies, I'm still sorting out triggers but she does get a touch itchy so I was happy to be able to conditioner her skin/coat. She didn't itch at all afterwards, in fact she dozed off after her spa treatment lol & her fur did look much better than before. The conditioner has a mild, pleasant smell. It's vaguely floral but did not have any irritating, artificial notes. I have a sensitive nose & the scent does not linger whatsoever. Even when I bury my face in my pup, I don't smell it shortly after usage. When I sniff her it's almost like there's an absence of a smell, but in a good way. And her hair is 10x softer. I think this works well, although I can't attest to its effectiveness with severe matts. I do like the spray, but for my purposes I don't know that I could justify spending $37 for a 10 oz. bottle going forward. My children use an all natural detangling spray as well & I don't even spend half that amount on them.

Good for between trips to the groomer
I have a small poodle mix, and after she goes to the groomer, her hair always feels so soft. Because I often need to bathe her between trips, I've been looking for a product that will replicate that softness.I'm happy with this leave in conditioner, as it is easy to use and just a quick spray onto my dog's coat. I usually will use it right after I bathe her, but also add a few sprays each time I brush or comb her. Although my dog's hair is currently cut pretty short for the summer, I have noticed her coat is easier to brush and her fur is much softer than it was before (although, still not to the level of the velvety softness after she's been to the groomer). I'm really looking forward to using this once she has her longer fall and winter coat.I am sensitive to scents, and when first smelling it, I was concerned it could be a little too strong, but because it uses natural sources of scents, it doesn't give me headaches like I've experienced with other products. The only reason I took off a star was because the price seemed high. With having a smaller dog, a bottle should last for several months. However, with a larger dog, I expect this could end up being a significant expense.

Makes my Dog Shine!
DOG by Dr. Lisa - Leave-In Conditioner Spray - Dog Coat Detangling and DeMatting Spray work very well on my short-coated dog. The shine is fantastic and my dog smells great long after the bath. I loved how soft and silky this made my dog's coat. Even her face and cheeks are shiny! I also loved how easy this was to apply. Just a few sprays and a quick wipe with my hand and the Conditioner is used. The smell seemed powerful at first but quickly dissipated. My dog is not bothered by the smell and his skin is not irritated. I liked this conditioner from Dr. Lisa and the shine is like nothing I have seen with my dog before. So I recommend it not just for detangling but for short-coat dogs too!

It’s fragrant
The best part about this product is it has a delightful smell and helps your pet(s) smell less stinky lol. However I haven’t noticed a difference in actual skin condition. I got this to try because my one dog always has dry skin and I was hoping this would help a little. It also isn’t sealed when they ship it, so when it got to me about a quarter to a third do the bottle had leaked out because the cap was loose. Fortunately the bottle itself it pretty big so it’s still going to last a while.

Dog conditioner 4
Definitely Like Spa for Dogs. It has a wonderful spa smell. I was a bit concerned about how the smell would affect my poodles, but they didn’t seem to mind it at all and for me it smells great so we both win. It did help tame tangles which is a huge thing for poodles. I was a bit disgruntled about the fact that when I ordered it stated that it was a gallon but what I got was 10 oz and the listing had been updated so for me the price was out of line for the amount that you get. If the price gets adjusted to match the size, it’s a fantastic product.

Good
Ohh, this left my lil' girl (maltese) sooo soft and shiny! It's a good product. My girl didn't have any tangles, matting etc - just fur that needs to be fluffy. This leave-in has a great scent and moved through her fur smoothly. Can't say it's worth ($40) the price, but then again my pups fur needs are pretty simple. Ifa dog has matting etc this may be a lifesaver.

Bottle says do not let your pet eat?
I'm a bit concerned that the bottle has a warning about letting your pet eat it. It's a leave on product and dogs lick themselves does that count as letting your dog eat it? Anyway I put a small amount on my doodles tail and brushed it. Smelled amazing brushing went fine but not better than usual. I will ask the seller my question on the eating and update my review if they respond. The bottle is aluminum and the outerwrap was cardboard so seems fully recyclable. Spray nozzle provided a nice mist output.Update here is response from seller on warning label: That is a standard warning that should appear on any shampoo, conditioner type bottle. If your fur pup licks it they will be fine. The ingredients are completely organic, dog safe, and vet created. However eating the bottle as a snack is not recommended.
