This brings me right back to childhood. Such a fun, cute, nostalgic little item.

I bought this for my little daughter thinking she’d love it as she loves babies. Within 3 days she was complaining about being needed so much and the baby was annoying her, waking her up around 9am. I said “Yup! Kids are needy and annoying. Welcome to parenthood!” She laughed and finally hid it somewhere to ignore it. She wants to give it away. So the toy works too good. Can’t figure out how to turn off volume or a button to turn it off completely for a break….

If you're looking for a blast from the past then you can't go wrong with this.It's exactly how it was from back in the 90's (for better or worse) and with the Amazon exclusive version it also includes a neat little case to keep the device safe from scuffs and scratches as well as accidental button presses while in your pocket or in a bag.As far as battery life I'm not sure just yet as mine is still working on its original battery, but I can assume it'll last roughly 20-30 days if compared to Tamagotchi Connection as I just had to replace a battery on one of those after 25 days and I (assume) those are more demanding when it comes to battery consumption as they offer more features than the original Tamagotchis such as this one.Only complaint is the price seems a bit steep for a little piece of now 27 year old technology.

It’s not water proof but my child jumped in a pool with hers around her neck. AND IT STILL WORKS!! This is her third one since she wore the first one in the shower and it did not survive. So I would say yes to this for my accident prone child. The mini Star Wars yoda was the second! We had to change the battery weekly and then screen died. So overall this has been the best one 🫠🤣

This Tamagotchi keeps dying after one day. I don't understand what is going on.-

My Sakura shell p1 Tamagotchi was from Amazon Resale. The only flaw I've come across were some red ink smudges. These were easily removed with hand sanitizer (with Vitamin E, if that makes any difference). The actual paint on the tamagotchi was not damaged, and the finish remained shiny. It now looks brand new.

This toy showed up in a dirty ripped up bag with no packaging and no instructions at all. It was not advertised as use; however, looks used. The photos show it in a package and new.
