We can make this sign in 4 different materials and a range of different sizes. 3mm PVC is a lightweight material developed especially for the sign industry. Signs made using this material are typically fixed to a flat surface i.e. a wall or wooden fence. When fixed properly they can last anywhere from 5 to 10 years outdoors and longer indoors. PVC is 100% waterproof, snow proof, ice proof, hail proof and will withstand hot sun in smaller formats (A4-A3). The vast majority of medium term signs are manufactured using 3mm PVC. 5mm PVC is as above but thicker and slightly more durable and more resistant to very high winds. It can withstand hotter temperatures in larger formats. 5mm is typically used in signs exceeding A3 and shop front signs. Solvent Stickers are printed with a professional eco solvent printer, they are waterproof, weather proof and the use of eco solvent ink means that they have a good UV fade resistance. Areas to which the stickers are to be applied must be cleaned thoroughly beforehand to remove oils and grease. As they are waterproof, larger stickers can be applied using a wet method to reduce the occurrence of bubbles and creases when applying. Aluminium Dibond was developed originally to replace Aluminium road signs. It is manufactured by laminating a polyethylene core between two wafer thin sheets of Aluminium. This makes the material corrosion resistant, extremely strong and long lasting. Perfect for long term signs or where winds are an issue. Dibond signs can be mounted to posts and fences as well as a wide variety of other areas including those suitable for PVC.
