Installation of the ASD Flush Mount Ceiling light was straightforward and hassle-free. It comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and clear instructions, making the installation process quick and easy. The fixture is lightweight, making it easy to handle and position during installation.

The landing for my basement stairwell has only 6'6" of clearance to the ceiling. My taller friends sometimes hit their heads on the light centered in the ceiling. This 4" light addressed that issue.Installation in the junction box was easy. Since I was connecting the wiring of the light which I'm guessing is 16 or 18 gauge wire to my home's 12 gauge wire, I took the extra precaution of using electrical tape to ensure that the wire nuts would not come loose. I then attached the crossbar to the junction box, alligned the light assembly to the crossbar screws, and tightened the screws. No problem yet. I then attempted to place the lens tabs in the keyhole slots and turn clockwise to finish the installation. No such luck. One of the keyhole slots is directly over the crossbar (the design flaw). I could not push the lens in far enough to seat it in the slot.My remedy: I filed off about 1/3 of the top of that one tab. The lens then seated perfectly in the slot over the crossbar. I was able to turn the lens into position. This light illuminates the stairwell sufficiently and no one will be hitting their head on this light.

Although this unit is not meant for this application, I installed it on a 30 year old ceiling light when I didn’t have a replacement. It actually worked so well that I installed it on a second ceiling fan. I just purchased a third light and will install it on another ceiling fan. It’s light, bright, and is cheap compared to traditional ceiling, light fixtures

Great supplemental light in my bathroom. Installed as part of a general remodel. Works fine. Color temperature is good at 3000K. My contractor groused about difficulty getting it clipped into its housing once the wires were connected. But once it’s up there it’s fine.

I installed this in a closet that did not have any lighting. A single light is bright enough for that.

Lights look great but I can’t install them because the springs are missing. I went back and looked at the item online and it says in small print that the accessories need to be purchased separately. So now I have to wait a couple weeks to install them. 🙁

These were an exact replacement for my existing lights. Took quite a while to find these. Only needed 1 but purchased the 6 pack. Have enough for my lifetime.

Although it wasn't stated as such in the product description, I repurposed this LED light fixture as a replacement for an existing ceiling fan light. It worked perfectly!
