Strathwood Griffen All-Weather Garden Furniture - Wicker / Poly Rattan Coffee Table Dark Brown

Having bought the Strathwood Griffen garden 3 seater couch and 2 chairs which I was pleased with, I was expecting the table to be good too. Unfortunately, although it looks great and is a fantastic size, it's relatively loose top and lack of a glass cover, makes the item very unstable as a table surface. For example, you couldn't easy trust that a full cup of hot tea or glass of wine wouldn't topple over when placed on the top. This is such a problem that I am going to have to find somewhere to provide me a glass cover at extra cost. It's a shame as the look of the set is lovely and the seats are comfy, but there is a cheap finish that brings it down some what.

Before you buy this coffee table be aware that the top surface is wicker, so if you want to use it for drinks then a tray is needed. This could be considered an issue to some but due to the fact we us trays to keep a constant supply of cold beverages whilst using the Strathwood Griffen range on the patio then its perfect for us. There is also no issues with breaking glass, cleaning or storage. Best of all its great to put you feet on whilst sitting. The coffee table is well made, ready assembled and very large.

I purchased this table to match my other garden furniture also purchased through amazon. I like the lighter colour of this Strathwood Griffen all weather furniture and find it very practical. This table is a great size with plenty of space for any garden relaxed dining.I find the top a little uneven so cups and glasses can wobble a little but have had no spillages so far.It is very light and easy to maneuver.

Really good size if you have company round. You can also use it with the chair to make a comfortable lounger. Very lightweight. not a bad price if you compare it to others on the market. Delivered very quickly by Amazon. Can't comment on the all weather aspect of it as I cover it up when not in use.

After 4 years of careful use, and always kept under cover during the winter months in a clean greenhouse, the rattan weave has become brittle and easily snaps off. Looks a mess! See picture.

A GOOD SIZE TABLE AND A USEFUL ADDITION TO THE FURNITURE SET.HOWEVER IT IS NOT STRONG ON THE TOP AND ITEMS PLACED ON IT WILL WOBBLE AND MOVE.YOU NEED TO USE PLACEMATS TO ENSURE YOUR CLOTHES DONT ENJOY YOUR FOOD AND DRINK.IDEALLY THIS ITEM NEEDS A GLASS TOP TO ENSURE STABILITY

Bought settee and coffee table fab quality my only disappointment was we ordered the chair as well which was out of stock and has since been discontinued! . Otherwise a great buy very comfy looks great in the garden.

nice size to compliment the strathwood sofas . no glass top , which I didn't anyway on our patio (breakages) we use place mats.disappointed to place went from £83 to £66 the week after I bought!
