Compelling read
I am a huge Zeppelin fan since the 1970's. This was so revealing and so intense. I had no idea what hardship these musicians endured. It all looks so fabulous and exciting in the days of old rock and roll. You will never again see the amount of dedication, commitment and endurance this band gave to entertain and follow their musical dreams. Fabulous read.

Nothing new here
This book or in my case audio book, there is nothing new, revealing or insight. That's not to say it's a bad book. It's just a standard rewrite of just about any other Led Zeppelin book out there. It quotes and barrows from a lot of them. So for most Led Zeppelin fans you won't be enthralled by the narrative. Little to no revelations between the relationship of John Bonham and the rest of the band other than Robert Plant and that is minuscule at best. You get all the standard outrages tales and hi jinks, but little on the inner workings of John Bonham.
