Pretty great third installment
I finished this series in a week and a half. There was a slight dip in the plot of Honeyed Words, that lost me for a few days, but I'm stubborn and forged through. Glad I did, cause the story does come together. The plot in Forged in Fire, was captivating, I enjoyed it immensely. Its great to see some of the plot come together. But its frustrating to know that the author intended for more.It left a lot of unanswered questions, that I'm dying to find out. It leaves readers wanting more, more history on Sarah, makes them curious of her past and her family. There's teasers baiting readers to crave the next novel.I only hope, J.A Pitts, finds a publisher to print the rest of the series. I'm sorta attached the Sarah and Katie now.

What a great series!
Still love this series. Love the blacksmithing. Love the Black Briar "reenactment" group. Love the music. Love the characters, both mundane and magick. The author has taken the paranormal genre in a very cool and enjoyable direction, and I have raced through each book since Black Blade Blues. I seriously hope there will be a fourth book!

Excellently bitter sweet
Really great read! The ending left me wanting more. I hope this series will continue so I can see what Sarah Jane Beauhall takes on next! Endearing characters and action packed story line that kept me eager the whole way through.

Who knew this would turn out to be so good?
A woman who forges iron into weapons, who re-enacts ancient battles? Who will learn to fight dragons and is a Lesbian. Oh, and J. A. Pitts is a man. Who knew this could be so good! I love his characters, the battle scenes, the reality in the relationships. His sense of family and loyalty is spot on and I can't wait for the next book.

Fun thrill ride
Not just another dysfunctional family - what a hoot. Fast Ducati race bikes, sword slinging chicks with a real temper AND a softer side, you bet. Bring on more!
