RaleighPOP 12 Inch Wheel Lightweight Alloy Single Speed Kids Bike with Stabilisers

This bike from Raleigh is available in two iterations, blue and red,however due to the age range the colour will not really restrict the item being utilised for either boy or girl use.I ordered the red variant, however it should be noted that whilst this item took around six weeks to arrive and was always awaiting stock, the same could not be said of the blue variant, I am unsure if either item is manufactured to order or just sells out instantly.The item arrived in typical Raleigh branded flat packed packaging, this provided all items within and the bike required some basic assembly, such as front wheel, handlebars and pedals, none of which is rocket science to anyone with any remote experience of DIY.Was the wait worth it?Most definitely, Raleigh hasn't been around for so long and become a household name without reason.It's a largely metal bicycle with few plastic parts, good thick rubber tyres, a decent chain guard and both front and rear brake calipers, something which is often missing from a bicycle aimed at this age range.Good quality stabilisers, anti slip pedals and the inclusion of a bell and reflectors complete the package.Sometimes it's best to spend a little more for something which is quality and will hold its value and due to it's strong brand name this item should do just that, allowing you to either hand it down to a second child or sell it to recoup your money without much loss once it's age range is exceeded.An excellent bike that's worth it's price point.

I recently had the chance to review the Raleigh POP 12 Inch Wheel Lightweight Alloy Single Speed Kids Bike, and we’ve had a great experience with it so far.Setting up the bike was straightforward. Although it came 80% assembled, attaching the additional parts like the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals was quite simple. The inclusion of a bell and reflectors are good extras, ensuring both fun and safety.My son took to it immediately and loves it. The chunky yet speedy tyres were perfect for our little outdoor adventures along the country park paths, and I noticed the efficiency of the anti-slip pedals which ensured my son pedalled with confidence because he isn’t worrying about slipping.The chain guard's design offers excellent protection, which as a parent, I love – no more oil stains to deal with! It feels like young riders’ needs have been put at the forefront of the design and they’ve really understood what would be most beneficial to include for children and parents.Overall, absolutely happy to recommend this bike. 5/5

Amazing first bike, can't fault it!It's lightweight and easy for kids to go,I looked at several other frames and I felt most were far too heavy for my son to be able to keep upright.On his 3rd birthday he was off on this without stabilizers!Really don't think that would have been the case on a lot of the other bikes.He loves this bike
