Love the product. Size and design are great. Makes a ‘traditional’ size hair dryer feel quite clunky. It actually looks very good too! However, after only 13 months, the unit did lose heat. I contacted customer service and they were really responsive. They quickly took care of the issue and now I have a new hair dryer. If you are on the fence with a purchase all I can say is that given the great price, design, warranty and great customer service, you have nothing to lose. Any product can have issues but if that product has the backing of a responsive and efficient customer service dept then that for me is the differentiator in who has my business. Sadly it seems that in today’s world, getting decent customer service is a rarity. Laifen came through and helped me out. Thank you Laifen.

Had mine for a year and loved it til it stopped working. Company sent me a replacement quickly so have to give them credit. Hopefully, this one is going to last because it really is a great dryer.

Like everyone, I was comparing this to the more expensive brand. I think this is the smarter choice and am very impressed. It's a huge improvement over my $40 Conair 1875W cool shot hair dryer I used for nine years. I don't miss that it died.The Laifen appearance is great. Minimalist and simple. Well-balanced and feels light. The attachments are magnetic and I'm happy there are two different concentrators as a choice for styling.The noise level is a huge improvement over a Conair "Quiet" dryer. The Laifen sounds only like a rush of air. You barely hear the motor at either level, it's more like wind. I'm sure I can even use this on my dog after giving her a bath and she won't mind. I think this will lower stress and protect my own hearing.The drying power is ideal. The low speed moves a nice volume of air, not wimpy. The high speed is very powerful yet still allows some control. The temperature choices are no heat, medium and high as displayed by the light ring. Medium heat is hot enough for styling, but not so hot you'd worry about damaging hair. High heat will definitely make you keep the dryer moving and avoid lingering on skin. To style my short straight hair with a round brush, I am using low speed with medium heat. High speed will dry faster, but will look wind swept if that's what you want.The cord is heavy duty soft rubber, not plastic. It's easy to manage and resists tangling. The 6-foot length is taller than me, so I wouldn't want it any longer.This is the best hair dryer I have owned. It is a lot of money, but I feel it is worth it for the ease and efficiency everyday. I can't imagine the more expensive brand being better and according to comparison reviews on Youtube it is not.

I absolutely love this hairdryer! It is so professional and expensive looking yet a cheaper version of the dyson. It is quieter than your normal hairdryer and I have noticed it dries faster, also it’s super lightweight! My 3yr old even does better with this and “loud noises” than your traditional hairdryer. I was disappointed because I was under the impression this one came with a diffuser like some of the others and now I will have to buy it separately. I have curly hair and need it. Otherwise I recommend this hairdryer 100%

Anyone with curly hair knows that drying your hair is time consuming... And if you use a bigger dryer with a long nozzle, the heavier it gets.I had been watching this one online for a while and it was getting good reviews. When Amazon had it on sale for less than the manufacturer website, I purchased it.Pro--lite weightshort nozzledries/diffuses my wavy/curly hair very wellCons--small diffuserREALLY short cord!a weird connecter box on the really short cord--I am guessing that is due to voltage requirements for countriesEven though the diffuser is on the small side, the dryer does a really good job of drying my hair, and it is nice that it is not a heavy dryer.But that SHORT cord, and the weird box on the cord, it ends up stretched under my faucet while I am drying my hair. That cord should be at least 12-24 inches longer. Not sure why such an expensive dryer cuts that cost corner.Bottom line, would I purchase this again, YES. It is a good buy, and a much cheaper alternative than the Dyson, which I NEVER even considered based on the price.I will say that the first dryer I received had a defect. When it was turned off, it would not start again--it took several tries for it to come on and stay on. Either the motor was too hot and needed to cool down some, or there was a short in it. Either way, that was not a good thing for a pricy hair dryer. I contacted Amazon, and they shipped out a replacement, and the replacement works just like it is supposed to and turns off and right back on.

I was blown away..literally! This hair dryer is so powerful. And quiet! One of the best features is that it has multiple air speed settings so it works well for straight or curly hair. You can adjust the temperature from hot to cold. Even at the highest setting, it was not too hot like some dryers are. It is lightweight. Perfect for traveling. It looks very sleek and stylish. I highly recommend!

I have curly hair and was looking for a dryer with a good diffuser and wouldn’t fry my hair. I had previously used a Sally Beauty ion dryer that was a Dyson dupe. It was ok, but hot, and then it blew up. Then while researching my next dryer I used my daughters Shark, which I liked overall, but SOOOOO Hot! I had to always us cold shot to cool my scalp.I read reviews on the Laifen, and was really keen on the hot/cold cycling feature, and that it had a cool setting. At the price, and being on sale, I decided to take a chance.I’m really happy I did! It’s been wonderful. The temp cycling is awesome, the diffuser works great, it’s powerful and light. Much lighter than the shark. The cools setting is great for me.My only complaint is I would like a longer cord. It’s much shorter than I’m used to and it would be nice to add a foot or two.If you are thinking about this dryer, go for it. It’s worth it and much cheaper than the competition!

Have had it 8mo. Cord is a bit short. Massive air volume with independently adjustable temp. Only wildcard for now is longevity.If it lasts more than 3-4 years, would re-buy even if it’s quite expensive

I wanted to use this 'expensive' hair dryer for awhile before reviewing. I like it a lot. I like the power, the clear difference between temperature settings and the speed of getting the task done. I like the weight of the unit but I am confused by the heaviness of the cord with a box midway between unit and wall plug. My husband has decided that he will buy one for himself. I hope it lasts.

I have long (almost down to my lower back), thick, wavy, slightly frizzy hair, and this hair dryer dried it at least twice as fast as a standard hair dryer, and completely eliminated the frizziness of my hair. It took me about 10 minutes to completely dry it. I colour my hair often, and it's never felt softer! Definitely recommend this hair dryer. I was thinking about springing the money for a Dyson, but this is a great, more affordable alternative!
