Useful but wood has weird smell
I love the effect this has on my skin... it is much firmer after a few days using it. The wood however has a really strange, ashy/burnt smell... I wonder if that will go away with time.

Useful tool for gentle yet penetrating muscle manipulation
I sometimes get swollen feet/ankles and have found compression socks to be a very slow fix. This tool when used daily to loosen up the area has sped up lymphatic drainage to get me back to normal within a couple of days instead of a week.The wood is smooth and the shape is easy to hold with many different angles and edge types to suit any body part. Very happy with this tool.

Splinters!!
Do not buy. Because the wood is not sealed with any sort of glaze, I was left with hundreds of tiny splinters lodged in my skin. Very disappointed.

Like gua sha for the body
A convenient and effective way to massage and relax muscles. Made of wood and easy to hold. However, when using it on yourself, the range of motion and reach is limited (mostly to legs, arms and back of the neck) - it is much more effective to have a partner do it for you.

Very Useful Tool
Recently learned of lymphatic drainage and having this tool makes it convenient to practice. It is so easy to use and gets used daily either before or after bathing. It's versatile as well so I believe that you can use over your clothing. The wood is smooth and glides across so no worries about splinters! Even with daily use so far it shows no signs of wear. The handle is what I love the most - no worries about it slipping out of your hand while using. Definitely recommend to anyone that is interested in lymphatic drainage.
