Works Well
Needed to catch a mouse / rat in the garage before it did any damage. Unfortunately, it was a mouse but he is no longer in my garage!

Useless did not work at all.
Light came on, however the trap never activated, despite the bait being stolen in the trap, Numerous times. Waste of time, and just started a return. I had the same type last year and it worked well for a while then started activating but catching nothing. I later found a short across two of the plates when I turned the trap on. Poor quality product.

Not too bad now started getting some kills
Had this set up in the garage for weeks now mice have messed around near it in it all over but even though its set and on, it doesnt get them they are too smart or there is something about this trap that they are avoiding it now .Holes are big enough to get mice through with ease let alone bait seems like a poor design for bait holding to me I’ve tried peanut butter but they don’t seem to like it they prefer the rat bait corn . I’ve had some results since posting my review so I’ve increased the star rating now 3 mice killed so far .👍

Works well but can’t be used around pets or children which limits where it can be sited.
For the last week or two I’ve been hearing a ‘tap, tap, tap’ coming from my loft, while tying in bed in the morning.I thought it was the birds but my husband has informed me that we might be playing host to a family of mice.We live in the countryside and back into fields which is lovely but this is one of the downsides.I ordered this trap as I think it’s quick and dispatches the mice humanely. It can be used with a plug point or with batteries which makes it easy to site and once the mice become accustomed to it being there and are less suspicious it works well.It is easy to remove the mouse and is fairly squeamish free. The bait station at the end is also relatively easy to clean.Pro’s are :*No more snapping my fingers in a tension bar.*No nasty poison which doesn’t kill them instantly and another animal could eat them and subsequently also be poisoned.*The red indicator light lets you know a mouse is trapped.*With batteries or mains power it can be placed easily.Con’s are :*Large opening and access to electrical plates is not safe for little inquisitive hands or paws. This limits where it can be placed.*A removable bait station would be easier to clean. The price offers good value but the safety aspect worries me.It’s fine for my loft but I wouldn’t be able to use it in the rooms of my home due to kids and pets.I hope you find my review helpful.

Stopped working mechanically after 3 nights. Ie green light does not flash when switched on.
I am not complaining that it has not caught any mice . I am complaining that it has failed mechanically and I now can’t return a non functioning item as I bought it 2 months ago.

It kills the unexpected
I've had / used the unit now for 10 weeks intermittently. Kill rate so far: 1 baby rat, 11 slugs, 4 batteries. Operation and setup is easy. I've tried a variety of baits. The unit sits in an area frequented by rats (I watch them under my bird feeders). Either my rats are too smart, or the slugs are more hungry. Overall, disappointed that the unit is disabled by a slug.
