UPDATE: Now Happier With The Chair....
UPDATE: 10/19/17 NOW HAPPIER WITH CHAIR! As promised in my original review, here's an update about this product since I've now had four 10 hour days using it while working. As you can see, I did increase my previous 3 star review to a 4 star review for several reasons, and honestly it probably would have been 5 star if it wouldn't have been for the defective bolts and Allen Wrench that were provided for the assembly of the chair because then I wouldn't have wasted so much time assembling it. First reason I updated to 4 stars is because the chair is incredibly comfortable!!! All of the cushioning on the chair is thick, firm (yet soft and comfortable), and it does NOT flatten out after sitting on it for several hours like every other cushioned chair I've ever owned. Second reason, I love that I can sit straight up with proper posture and the headrest of the chair is more than high enough for me to comfortably and easily rest my head against it, whereas previous chairs were too short and I'd have to slightly slouch down in order to use the headrest and keep in mind I am slightly taller than average I believe, 5 ft 9" to be exact. Third reason, the lumbar support in this chair is amazing and it does help to improve your posture and prevent unwanted back pain. Fourth reason, the chair is even sharper/nicer looking than in the product picture. Fifth reason, the chair is durable and seems to be of high quality once it's assembled. FINAL REASON, I was surprised and pleased with the customer service I received from this seller without even reaching out to them about the assembly problems I had. I assume they read my review and followed up with me from that. I received a very nice, professional email from them apologizing for the defective bolts and Allen Wrench I received. Furthermore, they did point out that no company is perfect no matter how much effort is involved, there's still going to be rare cases that something doesn't go right with a product order, whether it's a defective part, bolt, or tool... And in all honesty, after having a few days to use the chair and think about what they said in their email I do admit that I was extremely frustrated after assembling the chair when I wrote my first review but I truly believe if I would have been patient and contacted the seller that they would have gladly sent me new replacement bolts and Allen Wrench. With new replacement bolts and wrench the assembly of the chair would have been easier. Much easier actually, because now that I think about it lining up the armrests with holes and tightening the bolts as attaching the chair seat and chair back together would have probably only taken a few minutes to complete because the bolts would have been tightened much quicker and easier with the right size Allen Wrench and I wouldn't have had to keep repositioning the pieces every few minutes once the bolts were tightened. Furthermore, this seller is still willing to send replacement parts if necessary and assured to compensate me appropriately.... That alone in my opinion is great service, especially when they reached out to me to correct the problem. I would DEFINITELY recommend this chair, especially if you're trying to prevent back pain and soreness, as well as improve your posture!!!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I love the way this chair looks in the picture, so comfortable and durable..... And that's exactly what I'd expect for a product this expensive! However, looks can be deceitful. First, let me say that I am used to assembling furniture, especially when ordering it from online. I must say when I first opened the package containing the chair I thought it was going to be quite simple to assemble but this was not the case. In my opinion the assembly of the chair could have been made easier if the armrest parts weren't all one part. The arms are attached to the hard plastic pieces that are fastened to the seat. You have to make sure the arms and plastic pieces are lined up with the 4 holes on each side of the top part of the chair and the seat part of the chair while trying to manage lining up the back of the chair with the seat part of the chair to screw them together as one piece. It's difficult enough to do with 2 people let alone 1 person. It's so hard to position the bottom of the chair in a way that you're going to be able to attach it to the back of the chair by attaching the arms and plastic pieces to both sections of the chair at the same time with 8 bolts that require an Allen Wrench to do so. Worse yet, the bolts they send you seem to be defective and the Allen Wrench is too big to tighten the bolts. Thankfully, I have many tools and was able to find an Allen Wrench that would fit/tighten the bolts. I do like how thick the cushions are on the seat and back of the chair, but after it was completely assembled we could both see that the chair slightly leaned to the left side. However, I did notice after sitting on the chair a day or 2 the lean seemed to level out. So I think maybe I didn't have the chair completely attached to the base and didn't realize until sitting on it a few hours and putting necessary pressure on it to make it click into the base properly. When using the tilt feature it kind of felt like it leaned back a bit too far. That part was an easy fix, it was just a matter of lowering and raising the lever on the left side of the chair. I thought I'd have a few different options for changing the angle and tilt positions on this chair considering how expensive it was, but there are 2 options, one that locks the back of the chair strait up with no tilting option what so ever in the back, or the second option which allows you to have tilting option without locking the back into place. Just to give you an idea on my build, I am 5 foot 9 inches and weigh 150 pounds. I am disappointed that once I'm sitting on the chair, I barely have enough room to slide my legs and chair under the desk, whether the chair is in lowest possible setting or not. So if you're like me and have a rolling keyboard that slides out from the desk then you may want to take the measurement from the bottom of the rolling keyboard to the floor and compare it to the measurement of the chair from the seat to the floor so you get an idea of how much room/inches you'll have between the chair seat and the rolling keyboard. I guess it's possible that maybe my specific rolling keyboard is lower than other desks because my desk is a bit older as you can see in the pictures that I attached.... I just assembled today so I haven't had a chance to sit in the chair for more than a few minutes but it did feel comfortable with good back support in the locked position. I work from home at least 8-10 hours a day at my desk and computer. I start working again Monday and after I've had a few days to sit in the chair for several hours then I'll come back and post another review. The only reason I was willing to spend so much money on this chair is because I have fibromyalgia, bursitis in my hips, and a bad back and had really hoped that this chair would reduce the amount of pain and soreness I experience by the end of a work day from sitting for hours at a time. The final thing I want to say, is that I NEVER review on products I purchase unless they're great or absolutely horrible. I was disappointed by the assembly of this product, and the poor craftsmanship of the bolts and Allen Wrench that was included with the chair but the chair once put together, does seem comfy.

The slightly reclined upright position doesn't compromise working at a desk or table to any great degree. The chair is very comfortable and the ...
5' 10 1/2", 218 lbs. OK, just assembled the chair by myself with minimal effort, in about 15 to 20 minutes. A second set of hands would have been only mildly helpful. I really had no difficulty to speak of. The construction seems solid, all the necessary hardware came neatly packaged, no missing parts and an extra screw of both sizes needed for assembly were also provided. Height adjustment on the right hand lever works smoothly as does the rocking, lock and posture adjustment lever on the left side(Turning the lever up to adjust your posture and/or rock, and turning the lever down to lock in place.A minor point to note, is that the chair does not recline from the backrest. Reclining is achieved through the action of the base mechanism tilting backwards when the lock is released and you lean back. The angle between the seat and backrest remains the same in all positions. In other words, when you lean back, the seat follows the backrest, the backrest does not extend away from the seat. This design brings me to the reason I only gave 4 stars. Do to this design, the upright position is not completely upright. In the upright position, you are in a slightly reclined position, you are actually about 20 degrees reclined. Is this a deal killer? No, not in my opinion. The slightly reclined upright position doesn't compromise working at a desk or table to any great degree. The chair is very comfortable and the fold up arms are a great asset, especially when you are involved with an activity that requires some elbow room (playing a guitar, or bass as in my case)Overall, really nice chair, good construction, comfortable, convenient attributes and, at a good price. I would definitely recommend.

Arm rest pads fall off after 2 months
The chair itself serves the purpose of being a chair. It tilts back and the adjustments are fine for me needs. The arm rest pads are glued onto some bolts embedded in the plastic arms. I do like that the arms fold up so I can play guitar, but after only using this chair for less than 3 months the arm rest pads have completely come loose. For the amount of money you're paying for a plastic molded frame chair I expected a lot more quality construction.I honestly would never buy this chair again for the amount being asked. If this had been a 50-60 dollar chair I wouldn't have such buyer remorse over something simple like arm chair padding that doesn't just fall off.Comfort wise it's just okay. I'm 5'11 and 185lbs and sit in the chair quite a bit as it is my office chair. I still find myself throwing a towel on the seat for some added "oomph". I have an old wooden office star chair that feels more comfortable with a towel in the seat than this does.Overall a disappointing purchase at this price. Your mileage may vary but I would never recommend it.Update: After this review the seller contacted me and apologized for the quality of the chair and offered to resolve my issue and did so in a timely manner. I have updated the score to 4 stars for the seller's willingness to contact me and make the situation right. For that I am very satisfied, and wish other seller's would have this type of dedication to quality control.
