Bosh mitre saw
Worth every penny, extremely accurate

Quality piece of kit
I can’t give a comparison as this is my first compound mitre sliding saw. I decided against the Evolution, which was much cheaper, on the basis that I plan to keep this a long time.Everything works as expected. Very pleased.

Reasonable cut.. terrible dust extraction
Have been using this for several months with different extractors (Titan, m-Tuf & Festool)... nothing works well with chips spraying all over the workroom. There seems to be a flaw in the design of the collection apron.. it is not wide enough and is divided into 3 separate sections, with high velocity wood chips spraying through the gaps. Most of the other brands I have investigated have a non-sectional apron.I am aware that extraction is an issue with sliding saws, but do your research if extraction is important for you.It cuts straight, but then so did my £150 evolution that this replaced.Apparently a different blade may improve the performance, but not really minded to spend £50+ to experiment.Difficult to recommend.

Heavy duty chop saw
Heavy duty chop saw, with great accuracy. Worth getting the stand to make it easier to use as it’s fairly heavy. Works well with the Bosch vacuum.

Boy oh boy, should have brought one years ago, what a fantastic machine. Easy to use, great accuracy, easy blade change stops short of making the tea but does everything thing else I expected and more !!

Fantastic saw for the money. Nearly as good as my£1k dewalt
