Not the best student book
Not the best to read as a student but it is a great book just a bit difficult to digest

Undergraduate Organic Chemistry Bible
Out of all of my books, this is the one I have used most, even though it is not one of the core textbooks for my degree. It is essentially the bible of undergraduate organic chemistry and contains a lot of useful information and mechanisms. For anyone who loves organic chemistry, I recommend this book.

Poor Service
We were supplied with a used book when we ordered and paid for a new book. It was a problem trying to get a refund and Amazon had to step in to force the refund through it's A-Z Guarantee. We are still in possession of the book as they don't want us to return it (it was sent from India!) they want us to keep the book until they have another buyer and forward it on!!!!!!!!!!!!

A long history
I bought this for my God daughter because 45 years ago it got me a distinction in Chem 1 and set me up for a career in science. It was that memorable, although I must confess haven't read it since..

Good book for university
My lecturer had copied much of his notes from this book so I wished to get it straight from the horses mouth. It explains the concept of mechanisms very well and really helped with my revision.
