I have done this experience twice with my 7 year old.. SHE LOVES IT!!It says what it does, and does what it says..The mix is pudding, you have to play around with it to get a thicker consistancy but it does work and is sickening sweet.. You child will LOVE it.My daughter loves it because it is HER 'kitchen' in our home.. If your child wants this type of thing as a toy, buy it..The food supplies are plentiful and are easily replaced by your local dollar store(powder pudding mix and sprinkles) the gel dispenser doesn't work for me but I am sure it's operator error.these toys are what you make of them.. expect a mess and LOTS of fun when your done! =-)

Package was pretty opened and dusty sticky dirty from sitting in attic or garage for years and clearly not new. Tape was yellow and barely holding pacake together. I will no longer be purchasing toys from amazon. Very unsatisfied especially with Christmas coming up.

I bought this on impulse for my 7yo daughter, hoping it would satisfy her desire for a Snoopy Sno-Cone maker. I am completely disappointed, but glad I didn't pay $37.99, which the vendor is charging through Amazon. Here's why:* It's a huge pain to unpack. It took longer to unpack than to make the final product.* It's poorly designed; the toppings holders should be larger so you don't have to keep tiny bags of extra toppings lying around.* The servings are tiny. This might be good...or not.* The taste of the mix was fine, but the consistency was gloppy unless you freeze before eating (and who wants to do that?)* I have no idea how I'll store all the bits and bobs together.Next time, I'll get the Snoopy sno-cone maker!

My 6 & 7 year old girls enjoyed this toy. They have fun decorating their creations with all the sprinkles. The Chocolate flavor is not good, but the strawberry and vanilla taste pretty good. It helps if you put the mixture in the frezer for 10 min before you put it in the machine. The cups are very small, but I like that my girls get a taste and not a lot of the sweet stuff. Its nice that you can use your own toppings when the sprinkles run out and we may try using chilled yogurt when the ice cream mixtures run out.

I purchased this product at Target and it was not a waste of money because it tastes good but it does not make a chilled treat like ice cream it makes flavored goo.So, unless you want flavored goo you should not purchase this.

Purchased as a birthday present for my granddaughters 7th birthday. Expiration date was the from the year she was born!

My daughter received this for her 6th birthday. It definitely requires parental supervision. My 6 year old could probably do it on her own, but not without making a gigantic mess. I measured things for her and she did the pouring and stirring. Like all of the other reviews stated, it doesn't actually make anything, it's just a really neat dispenser. But I'm not complaining about that, as I seen the fun value in it.The mixes are completely awful, and as a mom of two girls, I'm plenty used to easy bake oven desserts and all sorts of other concoctions, so my expectations were not high. Both the chocolate and vanilla had a nasty bitter after taste. It reminded me of frosting with too much red dye in it. Thankfully it doesn't actually MAKE anything so we can use it with other items. We will try jell-o next and maybe soft serve ice cream. There are a lot of small pieces, but clean up was relatively easy. I just dumped it all in a bowl of hot soapy water and let it sit for a few minutes and then rinsed.

My daughter saved up her money to purchase this toy. We followed the instructions and tried to make the chilled treats twice. Both times we basically made a chocolate gloppy mess. This item does not work as advertised and my daughter is very disappointed.
