I suppose you never want to truly know if they “work” or not, but they fit great and appear to be really nice quality.

I use these for chainsaw, weed eating, and brush work on my 5 acres, they are tough and protect the front of your body from impacts and keeps you alot cleaner overall. I have lots of rocks of all sizes here and they all seem to come flying at me for time to time, these chaps stop all that , along with proper upper body protection, well worth the cost, and Highly recommended.

Fortunately, I have not had a chance to test the protective function of these, and hope I never have to learn how well they protect. But I will say they are pretty comfortable for protective gear, don't restrict movement, and provide a sense of safety when cutting wood. It took some fiddling with the adjustments to keep them in place--they kind of roll to the outside. I'm 5'10" and bought the 37" length. They fit just right, and probably anybody from 5'8" to 6' would be happy with that size. There was a size chart in the package that ought to have been posted as part of the product description here.

These are far better than I was expecting, very nice chaps, thick, excellent value, just buy them. Our small town hospital is full with Covid19 right now, if these stop the saw and keep me out of the ER they are well worth the money!!!!!!!

Thankfully I haven’t tested if these are cut proof yet, but the certainly seem sturdy, and they fit perfectly.

They keep you safe. Have worn them, but haven't (thankfully) had to use them.

Good value for added protection from serious chainsaw accident. Trying to prevent injury while using my gas saw. Chainsaw one of the more dangerous equipment I have. Don’t let an accident happen first then it’s too late. Don’t forget about face, foot, ear and hand protection too. Safe sawing.

The seem quite solid and are comfortable. Have not tried to cut thru them though…
