if you hold a pedal by the post and spin it, it should spin freely. this one did not. it just immediately stop turning. as if the were no ball bearings or maybe the ball bearing were dirty plastic. the support post for the pedal only extends 1/2 into the pedal housing. why this is bad: if you put most of the weight on the outer edge of the pedal, all of your weight is being supported by plastic and over time the plastic pedal could simply break off. this is what happened to one of my bike's original pedals, and that's why I needed to buy replacements. don't replace with same cheap stuff. i returned and bought all metal pedal instead.

Reasonable price work as they should

Worked incredibly as a replacement. I was worried about an oversized pedal but for a little 18" bicycle, it fits perfectly and has decent quality. Arrived on time and overall great purchase.

Had to return item it did not fit the kids 16' bike
