Having had the original GHD's many years ago, when they packed up I very unwisely went for cheaper straightners, big mistake. My hair had started to become brittle and frizzy on the ends after using the cheap ones. I decided to bite the bullet again and bought these. What a huge difference in only a couple of uses. My hair looks and feels much better and no frizzy ends. I also bought the GHD Helios hairdryer and I am not disappointed. Using the two together has definitely improved my hairs appearance and it feels so much softer and looks shinier. Yes, they are very expensive, but in my opinion, worth every penny.

I decided to buy new hair straighteners and went for the GHD as used by my hairdresser. They are really good. They are light, easy to use and are definitely better than the cheaper hair straighteners out there. They heat up to 180* so don’t burn your hair but straighten well. I got the platinum so not cheap and deliberated over purchasing for a while but glad I decided to buy them.

These are by far the fastest and most efficient straighteners I have ever had! They are great quality and your hair doesn’t get caught as they glide easily through your hair. Comes with a heatproof guard whilst they cool down (not a heat mat though). They heat and cool within minutes. Honestly I bought myself a pair after trying a friends and they are fantastic! Only thing is because they are white they will pick up on things like makeup stains. However I like the white colour. Just do your make up after.

I use these everyday, they are amazing, they colour is gorgeous and i like how it make a noise so i know when it is fully heated

A little more flimsy than previous GHD models. The straightener arms bend slightly and can easily be snapped but, straightens hair very well and a decent purchase when on offer at a lower price
