Solid, sturdy step stool
I needed a new step stool (after the one I'd been using for fifteen years broke, and after I failed to read the product info properly on my initial choice of replacement, and ended up with one with a maximum height of 9"), and this one turned out to be exactly what I need.Firstly, it comes fully assembled, which is a huge plus. All you have to do is 'open' it to fold the legs and steps out, then snap the locking top step into place, and they're ready to use.The steps feel very sturdy when in use, and the caps on the bottom of each of the legs are ribbed to give them some slight grip, as is the material that covers the top surface of each of the steps. The top step (of the three-step model that I got) is 16.5" off the ground when the steps are in use, for anyone else who is confused by the fact that the dimensions labeled on the product page don't actually show that piece of information. When you're done using them and want to put them away, all you need to do is push the button behind the top step to release the locking mechanism, then lift the step upwards and fold the whole thing up. The steps can then be stored easily against a wall, in a closet, etc.I'm very pleased with these, and delighted to be able to get to the backs of my highest shelves again. One thing to be aware of is that the perspective in some of the photos on the product page (including the main product photo) could lead you to believe that the 'back' frame of the steps stays at (or close to) 90 degrees to the floor when the steps are in use; that's not the case (as is clearly shown in other photos), as the frame is actually A-shaped when the steps are in use, which means you can't get quite as close to the shelf (etc) in front of you as you could with a set of steps where the non-step part of the frame is straighter/less angled. That's a very minor issue, but just FYI for anyone who may not have noticed!

Nice A-frame step-stool.
I like this step-stool (really a baby step ladder). It's only three steps, but those three steps represent a significant difference in how high you can reach as compared to the usual 2-step stools. It comes fully assembled; just pull it out of the box, flick a button to unlock and open it, and you're good to go. It feels a tad narrow to me, but I think that's just because it's taller than what I'm accustomed to in the two-step variety. But it is rock solid sturdy. It also folds up into a super compact unit, so you can in most cases store it behind a door, or out of the way in the pantry, or lots of other places -- point is it doesn't take up much space when folded up.My one thought down the negative track is that it really has no hand hold as you're climbing up. So sturdy as it may be, I think folks with balance / equilibrium issues (or even height issues) might want to stick with something with a handle to hold onto while using. Otherwise, this thing is great.

Just What I needed
We have a small ladder and shorty that I am there are a lot of place I am unable to reach. I have been using one of my dining room table chairs (I know). I slipped on it last time. When I saw these I knew it was a must. I got the three ladder versus two because I have a lot of high places in my home. The ladder came well packaged, shrink wrapped and in a box. The wrapper was not hard to remove. Once I did, the ladder was easy to open 9th third photo). There is a one sheet direction which I didn’t think I needed until I could not figure out how to close the ladder. Turns out there is a latch behind the first high step and once pull the ladder was easy to close. It is solid even on carpet. I have used it to try it out as I did need something up high. Also, once folded the ladder can fit in many small places.I highly recommend this.

Nice and sturdy!
This is the nicest step ladder that I have ever used. It is nice and sturdy and I don't feel like it's going to wobble while I am using it. I chose the 3 step option instead of the 2 step because I like to use it for more heights around my house. It has certainly came in handy for house projects. Very happy, well made product!

3-step ladder
The 3-step ladder that I received is as described. This ladder seems to be very sturdy and yet is also relatively lightweight. The main ladder 'A' supports seem to be solid. The steps are deep to provide a good solid platform for your feet. The ladder folds up nicely.
